Now, here is a little card I made for the weekend.

I used the image Sugar Rembrance from the Sugar and Spice Collection. I had so much fun coloring her, not your typical character image for myself but I love how she turned out. She's colored with Copic Markers and I did some accenting with the Wink of Stella Clear pen. For the background I did a wash of Distress Ink in Pumice Stone then I added some details with W1/W3/W5 Copics.

For the base of the card, I used the Side Step Card by By DIEzynes Dies. Also used the Stitched Circles for the image, love that extra detail with the stitching around the border.

So there's my card for you. I hope you come and join our group! There are fabulous prizes for this weekend. Not only that, you learn so much from all the other members in regards to coloring. Have a beautiful weekend, and See You There!

Adore You

Happy Monday, today I'm sharing a card that I created for the I Am Roses Challenge Blog.  The digi image is from Some Odd Girl - Ribbons. She is colored with my Copic Markers. I'm in love with my red hair color combo, so you'll probably see this again on another image. I used my white gel pen to add some details to the flower and ribbon.

To recreate the flower on the image, I used the R43 in a creamy pink, colored the center with my Copic Markers, as well as adding the white dots with a white gel pen. For a filler in my floral arrangement, I used the ST01-403 Yellow Foam Head Stamens. I had these beautiful T25 Pink/Yellow Semi Open Rose Buds in my stash and it fit well with my coral color scheme.

I used a sentiment "Adore You" and embossed it in gold embossing powder. To finish the card, I used some flat back pearls at the top right corner. She is a beauty!

Good Luck

Hey everyone, Happy Friday! I colored this cutie, Digi Good Luck Anya from The Greeting Farm, at a crop this past weekend. She is colored with Copic Markers, as always. St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner and she is perfect! I used Wink of Stella Clear on her vest and also on the four leaf clovers.

The designer paper of choice is from Simple Stories - Good Day Sunshine, which I used on my previous card. I have all these 6x6 paper pads and I'm really trying to get the most out of them by actually using the pad for more than one project LOL.

I don't have the time right now, but I would love to do a Copic coloring video on her, so cross your fingers xx. So that's my card for you today, hope you all have a crafty weekend! Thanks for stopping by and come back again!

Good Day Sunshine

Happy Wednesday! Welcome to a new challenge today up over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog (Anything Goes with an Optional Twist "Use Green"). Today's image is from Whimsy Stamps - Sally Hangs Her Heart on a String. She is colored with Copic Markers and accented with Wink of Stella in Clear. I also used a white gel pen to color in the freckles and the white polka dots on her outfit. The image was trimmed with an oval die and I lightly traced the outside with my red Copic Marker. It is popped up with dimensional foam dots and placed on the left corner so I wouldn't cover the wording on the paper.

The paper is from Simple Stories - Good Day Sunshine. I guess you would consider this a CAS card. Other than some red twine and heart punch outs, those were the only embellishments I used on this card.

There is still one more image from this collection that I plan on using, so stay tuned for that. Thanks for stopping by! Come join us over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog!

Happy

Happy Saturday! Is anyone up and crafting today? I created a simple card using the MFT Die-namics Proof Positive and Mama Elephant Happy Script Creative Cuts die.

No coloring for my today but I did go a bit Die crazy. I popped up the Proof Positive die cut on dimensional foam dots. I didn't have gold foil paper, so I heat embossed gold embossing powder on some white cs, then I cut the paper using the Happy Script die. I needed leaves for my flowers, so I used the Open Leaf Flourish die on white cs.

So there you have my card for today, I really like how it turned out. Thanks for stopping by as always and have a crafty weekend! Come join us over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog!

Happy Wishes

Good morning! I'm back with another card, it's for the Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm. This week's theme is "Birthday Celebrations". I've been invited as one of the Guests to help celebrate Marie's (the owner) Birthday.

Here I am using Up Up Bean for my card. I bought her a while back and I finally colored her (sounds familiar?). She is colored with Copic Markers and highlighted with Wink of Stella Clear pen for that added shimmer. With a mini heart stamp, I created a pattern on her beanie. The designer papers are from one of my all time favorite paper pads, MME Blush.

For my sentiment, I used Mama Elephant - Happy Script die (happy) and Simon Says Stamps - Celebrate (wishes). The "happy" was cut from white cs and I colored it with Copic Marker G03 to match my color scheme.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Head on over to the TGF Blog for this challenge, there are (2) Prizes up for grabs...$25 Gift Certificate (Winner of the FFF)  and a $15 Gift Certificate (Winner - Leave a BDay Comment for Marie).

Have a beautiful day & weekend!

Enjoy the Little Things

Happy Thursday! Just wanted to pop in and share my favorite card thus far for 2015! This little gem is from The Greeting Farm. It was a freebie digi image sent in their newsletter, so if you are not signed up...what are you waiting for? I printed her out and colored her with Copic Markers. I made a shaker card, because that's what you do when you have a sh*tload of sequins LOL.

I added some Glossy Accents on the starfishes adorning her hair. Also I wanted to try this white dot technique that I've seen other artists' colored images. Love love love the look! You best believe that this will happen again. The leaves and background colors are created with Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays. I wanted lots of shimmer.

So there is my mermaid shaker card. My all time fave so far, if I didn't mention that already. I love the vibrant blues and purples. Confession, I always wanted to be a mermaid, hehehe.

Thanks for stopping by and I do have another card for you tomorrow! Have a fabulous day!
