September I Am Roses Challenge

Happy Sunday! Here's my project for the new challenge at the I Am Roses Challenge Blog

Today's card is holiday themed. I used several wood veneer embellishments in my stash. The designer paper is matted with red cardstock. I created a tag and stamped a vintage Santa Claus image. The edges are inked with Distress Ink in Walnut Stain.

I used a variety of white and red I Am Roses flowers. A few accents of green leaves and mini roses finish up the card.

Happy Monday! How is everyone's July going? The heat is on where I am currently. Stay cool everybody! Here's my project for the new challenge at the I Am Roses Challenge Blog

Today is my birthday month and decided to make myself a card =) The front showcases a "J" alpha chipboard piece. The theme is shabby chic, using white, aqua and neutral tones.

I added a cute miniature bottle filled with glitter for a little whimsy. I used a floral spray that was in my flower stash and paired it with I Am Roses flowers and a bit of lace.

May IAR Challenge

Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. Here's my project for the new challenge at the I Am Roses Challenge Blog

Here is an altered canvas notebook that I covered with I Am Roses flowers. The notebook is pre-made and I layered multiple flowers on the cover.

My inspiration for the colors were drawn from the little egg nest embellishment. I wanted to use aqua/teal and white tones. The flowers are adhered to the canvas with hot glue.

November I Am Roses Challenge

Happy Wednesday! Here's my project for the new challenge at the I Am Roses Challenge Blog

I created this wreathe to use as décor to hang on the wall in my entryway. The original wreathe is from the .99 Store. It was sad and needed a lot of help.

I used a variety of flower sizes ranging from 1/4" - 3", tucked beneath some of the flowers and foliage that came with the original wreathe.

I used the Daisy Brown Stamens as a cute little "mushroom" accent tucked in around the flowers.

I Am Roses - October IAR Challenge

Happy Saturday! Here's my card for the new challenge at the I Am Roses Challenge Blog. Ever have one of those cards in your stash that needed a little re-vamping? Well, I found one.

There was nothing wrong with this card by all means but I thought that I could level it up with flowers. I went crazy lol. I first started with the base arrangement above the sheer ribbon. I used a variety of autumnal colors: orange, red, taupe and green.

The gold die cut words were surrounded by taupe, tangerine and green flowers along the border. To see the original card, go here.

Here is my card that I created. The base is a corrugated cardstock that I added white paint splatters. The die cuts (heart, mitten, and snowflake) are from a holiday swap that I participated in. I love the soft pinks and decided to make that my color scheme.

Underneath I layered white stamens and cream skeleton leaves. The ephemera is from Pink Fresh Studio. I chose soft pinks and creams for my flowers. The cherry blossoms are in the color pink and cream. The .25" flowers are in white and pink, the perfect size for creating flower clusters. The other sized flowers range from 3/4" - 1". Lastly, I added some gold jewels from Kat Scrappiness.

Here is the line up for the hop. don't fret if the posts are not available, the blog hop comments are open for a week.

August IAR Challenge - Mr. & Mrs.

Happy Thursday! Here's my card for the new challenge at the I Am Roses Challenge Blog. One of my friends is getting married and I created this card using her wedding colors.

I created a letter board by cutting two squares in different sizes and I scored the black cardstock to mimic grooves for the letters. I happened to have the perfect size alpha die to cut out "Mr & Mrs".

I used some wood grain pattern paper on the base of the card, added some b&w striped ribbon and some cream tulle before I added the letter board. Two types of leaves begin the base of my floral arrangement (rose and skeleton leaves). I layered several varieties of flowers and sizes in the colors lime green and white. Lastly, I inserted individual stamen in and around the flowers.

That is my card for the August IAR Challenge, hope you and my friend like it =)
