Bon Voyage

If you don't know about it already but Stamper's Dream is having their closing out sale. You can read all about it here and also there's a coupon code you don't want to miss out on. I used the JustRite Bon Voyage stamp set in my card for today. I layered several of the images on dimensional foam pop dots. I used my Spellbinders Labels Four dies to cut the pattern paper (Prima Printery). There are coordinating dies that do go with this stamp set, unfortunately I don't have them but I think it turned out fine with the ones I chose to use. I added some rhinestones for that extra sparkle.

The "Bon Voyage" sentiment is also from the same stamp set. I cut my own little banner and inserted it behind one of the images. All the papers were either distressed with Black Soot or Antique Linen Distress Ink.

The stamp set also came with an Eiffel Tower image. I stamped it in the inside of the card and added a few strips of the Prima Printery paper also. So here is another card for this week. Don't forget to check out Stamper's Dream to get some great deals. Thanks for stopping by, have a great evening!

"Believe" - A Stamper's Dream Farewell Blog Hop

Good morning everyone! Welcome to your final stop for the Stamper's Dream & Friends Blog Hop!

Here is my project for today. I made this card using the JustRite Christmas Trimmings stamp set. I love all the options you are given to decorate your Christmas cards. I decided to use the wreath stamp and the sentiment "Believe". The wreath was colored with my Copic markers. I used Tsukineko's Rich Cocoa to stamp the images. The paper collection I used was from my stash, MME Festive & Frost. All the papers were edged with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

The wreath image was popped up on dimensional foam dots. The die I used as the base was Spellbinders Fancy Tags Two. The little pieces that came off the die after it was cut was used as little accents above and below the wreath. Brown seam binding from my stash was my ribbon of choice. It made my card look like a Christmas present.

To finish the inside of the card, I just punched a strip of scrap paper with a scallop border punch. So there is my card for the hop. All the links to the products that are still available at Stamper's Dream will be posted below.

A Gift for You

Happy Heat Wave Wednesday! It is hot hot hot up in here =) I have a Christmas card for you today brought to you by Stamper's Dream. I have been very good and I used paper from my stash. Woohoo! I distressed the edges with Walnut Stain. I used the dies from Spellbinders 2011 Heirloom Ornaments. They are suppose to be Christmas ornaments but I decided to make a flower instead. I used a circle punched paper as a base and glued individual ornaments with the point sticking out. I then used one of the smaller dies for the center and did the same thing. I adhered them with hot glue. For the center of the "flower" I used a vintage button.
The sentiment "A Gift for You" is from JustRite Christmas Mini Sentiments. I embossed it with white embossing powder on vellum paper. I cut a little ribbon tail at the end and adhered a small pearl. I laid a large piece of crochet trim at the back and some pearl flourishes. So there is my card and I hope you look at your dies at a different way =) All the product links available at Stamper's Dream are listed below. Have a great evening!

Season's Greetings

"Season's Greetings"? It's only October LOL. Well it's never to early to start holiday cards. So here is a card that I created. Believe it or not I used non-Christmas paper for this project. The two paper stacks I used were Crate Paper Portrait Collection and Pink Paislee Hometown Summer. I haven't bought any of the new Christmas collections out there yet, so I went through my papers and found these. The wood grained paper is from Crate Paper and the red w/stars patterened paper on the banner is from Pink Paislee. All of the patterned papers were lightly distress with Walnut Stain.

The cute little image is one of the many images from the JustRite Seasoned with Love Set. I colored her with my Copic markers. I used my 1 3/4" circle punch and my Spellbinders Floral Motifs dies for the outside as well as the inside trim. The cute mini December calendar is cut from one of the designer papers. I popped up the image on thin dimensional pop dots.

The sentiment "Season's Greetings" is from the JustRite Christmas Mini Sentiments Set. I love how thin this card is, easy to send out in the mail without any special envelope to make room for dimensional embellishments. So this card was really quick and fun to make. Please visit Stamper's Dream for the products listed below. Happy Wednesday!

Precious Gifts

Pheww! What time is it? Pretty late for a project, but I wanted to play with this Printery 6x6 Paper Pad from Prima Marketing. I used several papers from this collection on this card that I created. Several other beautiful paper pads from Prima are also available at Stamper's Dream. The image of the trio of bottles that I used is from Stampendous Cling Bottled Gift Sets. The "Precious Gifts" sentiment is also from that stamp set. I edged all the papers and image with Black Soot Distress Ink. Two little tiny black brads were added and I also distressed the edges of the paper that the sentiment was stamped on.

I love the crowns on those bottles, they add suck an elegant touch. I wrapped some Ivory Burlap String on one neck of the bottle and the other two I adorned with some rhinestones. The image is popped up on dimensional foam pop dots. I painted some Glimmer Glam in Hay Ride in the inside of all three bottles. So that is my card for tonight or is it morning already? LOL. Thanks for passing by!

Halloween Treats

Happy Tuesday everyone! I wanted to share with you guys these really easy Halloween treat bags that I created using the JustRite Tiny Halloween Sentiments at Stamper's Dream. I had used these sentiments previously on some Halloween Cards (original post here). These sentiments are versatile and can be used on more than one type of project.

The base of the treat bag is just a small plain black sack that I purchased at my local craft store, Michael's. You can stamp any image in the front with white pigment ink. The images I used are the Trick or Treat Oval Centers & Borders from JustRite.

I took some white seam binding and dyed them with my Starburst Sprays from Lindy's Stamp Gang. The treat bags can be filled with candy or even money =). The sentiments are stamped on scrap pieces of paper and I hand cut the ribbon tails. The tags are attached to the seam binding with a May Arts Black Burlap String. So there you have it. I made a video of this tiny project and you can view it here. Thanks for stopping by!

Charming, Lovely, Beautiful

Hi everyone! I've got another card for you. I'm so excited to be using this new Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Two die. This is one of the many brand new releases that are available at Stamper's Dream. My Spellbinders collection is ever expanding, I just want them all! I love the shape of this die, it perfectly framed the bird cage image from the MME Blush paper pad. I am going to use up this paper pad for my cards because I love it so much!

The edges of the papers were inked with the Distress Ink Spun Sugar. The color is so soft and it brought out the embossed edges of the die. I embellished the card with some small semi open rose buds, a clear crystal spray, some seam binding and a rose button from my stash.

On the bottom of the card I ran some Tim Holtz Tissue Tape. So there is my card share for you today, I hope that you guys like it. If you haven't picked up this yummy paper pad you are missing out....just sayin' =) Have a great rest of the week!

Happy Birthday

Happy Wednesday! It's time for a birthday card. This awesome stamp set is JustRite Shabby Chic Labels Four, available at Stamper's Dream. I love how these JustRite stamp sets are compatible with Spellbinders dies. I stamped the image on pattern paper and used the Spellbinders Labels Four Large die. The paper is MME Lost & Found Blush. I used the same card layout as my Halloween cards (original post here) but just reversed the placement. I kept this card pretty flat and only popped up the stamped image on dimensional pop dots. It's perfect for mailing.

The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is also from the same stamp set. I stamped it out on a rectangle shaped banner and cut the little ribbon tails at the end. I'm so addicted to making ribbon tails on my projects now LOL. I finished it with a mini rhinestone embellishment. The edges of the papers were lightly edged with Distress Ink Walnut Stain. A small strip of pattern paper was just placed on the inside.

Well there's my card and I hope you've enjoyed it. All the links of the products used are provided below. Have a great day!

Halloween Cards

Happy Thursday and it's time for another Stamper's Dream project share! It has been a weird weather week for me here in Cali, it's hot, then it rains, and it's hot again, ugh. Anyways, I was able to make these Halloween cards. The paper I chose to use is Echo Park The Apothecary Emporium. I used the fabulous new sets from JustRite Trick or Treat Borders & Centers Oval. These images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and were colored with my Copic markers. I also used a glitter pen on some parts of the images.
I used my small oval Spellbinders to cut the images out. Then I used foam pop dots to place them on the card for that added dimension. I used the JustRite Halloween Mini Sentiments. You can choose from 18 different phrases in this set. I had cut the banners and edged all the papers with Black Soot Distress Ink. As a final embellishment, I added three brads to the top of the banner tail. I used the same layout on all four cards, which made them fast and easy to replicate.

Thanks so much for stopping by, enjoy your day!

Be Strong Party Favors & Thank You Card

Hi and Happy Wednesday! It's the the last day of the month and I have two Stamper's Dream projects to share. I had made a card last week (blog post here) using the Be Strong stamp set and I wanted to show some other quick projects that can be created using other images in the set. There are so many to choose from but here is what I came up with.

For my first project I decided to make some favor boxes. These are perfect for those charity events/parties/crops that will be held in October for Cancer Awareness Month. For the base of my project I used a plain favor box that I found in the wedding section of my local craft store. The papers that I chose to use were from MME the Happy Go Lucky paper pad. I used several sentiments included in the stamp set. The heart tag die from JustRites Charms Custom Dies were a perfect fit. The Spun Sugar Distress Ink was used lightly around the stamped sentiments to make them pop out more. You can watch a video on how I put these favor boxes together here.

For my second project, I made these 3x3 Thank You cards. I used the same paper collection and cut it down to size. In the Be strong stamp set, I used the large ribbon image and stamped it on white cardstock and then I cut it out. I stamped the individual words "Friends" and "Strength" at the tail ends of the ribbon. Then I lightly inked the ribbon with the Spun Sugar and popped the ribbon up with dimensional pop dots. Really simple and fast projects that are easy to replicate.

I hope I was able to show you how you can make a stamp set stretch out into multiple projects. Thanks for stopping by!

You Are In My Prayers

Happy Wednesday! It's 6 o'clock in the evening and it is scorching hot in Southern California right now. Nevertheless, I have a card share for you guys today =)

JustRite Stampers came out with these two fabulous stamp sets that are available at Stamper's Dream. The main image on the front of the card is from the Be Strong stamp set. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with my Copics. I then added some glitter to the ribbon to make it pop. The image is framed with a Spellbinders Small Classic Ovals in black cardstock.

The pink flower accents were sprayed with my Lindy's Stamp Gang in Scintillating Silver. I added some white porcelain flowers to the floral mix. I cut a piece of black/white polka dot glitter paper with my Sizzix Square Scallop die. On the main pink paper I stamped the image of the mini ribbon all over as an added detail to the background. I wrapped the card with a 1/2" black satin ribbon (my favorite type) and tied a bow in the front.

For the inside sentiment, I used the other stamp set Strength & Courage from JustRite. The image of the tiny ribbon from is from the Be Strong set. I added more of the pink paper and cut the white cardstock with my Sizzix die.

So that is my card for you guys today. I hope it has inspired you. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and these stamp sets would be perfect for those projects to come. Thanks for stopping by!

Life Is Better With Friends

I hope everyone is ending their Thursday on a good note. Here is a card I created for Stamper's Dream. The paper collection is For The Record Echo Park. All the edges of the design papers were distressed with Black Soot from Ranger. I kept this card pretty simple, not too many flowers or any bling at all. The bird cage image is from JustRite's Spread Your Wings stamp set. This set comes with 15 stamps total, with a variety of bird cages. The pair of birds is a separate image in the set.

I truly believe that my friends have made life better =) The sentiment is stamped on white cardstock and on a hand cut banner. The two ends are adorned with these itty bitty small white roses from I Am Roses. I used small ovals and a lattice die from Spellbinders to layer the image on the card. A small strip of designer paper was punched with a scallop border punch.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day tomorrow =)
