The Greeting Farm - You Mermaid to be Awesome

Hi everyone, this is my last project as July Guest Designer for The Greeting Farm. I had such an amazing time creating again with TGF images. By far this is one of my favorite cards. I used two stamp sets:

I knew I wanted to have a mermaid inside the glass bottle. I chose which images I wanted and colored them all with Copics. This was the first time I ever colored the whole background with markers. Next, I stamped the sentiment on the bottom left corner, I tried not to color the paper too dark. I then fussy cut all the images and started to build the scene. I layered and stacked the only seaweed image in the Little Mermaids stamp set. I wanted it to look lush and full. The base of the background is a wave die.

Skin: E00/E11/BV00/R81/R20
Pinks: RV04/RV19/RV69
Purples: V12/V15/V17/V09
Greens: YG03/YG67/G14/G43
Yellow: Y13/YR23
Teal: BG13/BG15/BG23/BG49
Sand: E31/E35/E29
Sand Castle: Y13/YR23/E31/E33/E29
Red Coral: R27

The fishes were actually stamped/colored on sticker paper and made it easy to adhere to the card. The final touches were to add some Stickles (Star Dust & Yellow) to a few images. I also used a white gel pen to add freckles to the mermaid.

I'd like to thank Marie and The Greeting Farm for having me as a Guest Designer. Thank you so much for letting me share my creations. 'Til we meet again!

The Greeting Farm - Believe in Magic

Hi everyone, I'm back with my second project share as July Guest Designer for The Greeting Farm. I made a fairy shaker card combining two stamp sets:

I used most of the fairy images, sentiment and mushrooms in the Little Fairies set. I used my Copic markers for coloring. The fairies' wings are glittered with Star Dust Stickles. For the base, I layered two background dies (wood grain & stitched waves frame). I used Tea Dye Distress Ink to color the wood.

Skin: E00/E11/BV00/R81/R83
Brown Hair: E71/E74/E79
Pinks: R81/R83/R85
Purples: V12/V15/V17
Greens: YG03/YG67/G14
Yellow: Y13/YR23
Wings: B0000/B00
Mushrooms: R27/R39/E31/E35/E37
Stone: W1/W3/W5
Soil: E31/E35
Pot: E99/E29/E09

The image for the shaker element is from Fairy Garden. I fussy cut the inside of the image with a precision knife and left a portion of the foliage/steps in the front. Inside the shaker are some stars and a heart crystal.

This was very fun to create and I hope you try this little scene for yourself. Thanks again for stopping by!

The Greeting Farm - July Guest Designer

Hi everyone, I am super excited to announce that I will be a Guest Designer for The Greeting Farm for the month of July! My history with TGF goes way back to guesting in 2012, being on the Design Team in 2013, and guesting again in 2015. If you haven't realized it yet, I love The Greeting Farm.

Today's project share is my July monthly layout in my planner (Hobonichi A6). It's my birthday month so I went all out and used several stamp sets:

The images were stamped onto sticker paper for easy application. I used my Copic markers to color all the images and had no issues blending. To add some sparkle, I used Star Dust Stickles.

Skin: E00/E11/BV00/R81/R83
Hair: E71/E74/E79
Pinks: R81/R83/R85
Turquoise: BG10/BG13/BG15
Yellow: Y13/YR23

The pages of my planner measure roughly 4x6, so all the images fit perfectly. If you want to use these colored images again and don't have the time to color, here's a TIP: Once your full page of images are colored, scan the page and keep it on file. When you are ready, pull up the file and print it out onto sticker paper and it's ready to go.

I hope you guys enjoyed my little project using these cute planner stamps. Thank you so much for stopping by. See you soon for more projects!

Mini Mason Jar Tags

Hello Tuesday! Just sharing a little project for Not2Shabbyshop featuring Sister Stamps: Sakura Set. I made Mini Mason Jar Tags. Inspired by a post by a fellow crafter, Friday =)

These were so easy to make. I used a mason jar stamp and a punch that matched up perfectly. The mason jar outline is embossed with white embossing powder. I wrapped some burlap string around the top. I used some misc. alpha chipboard ephemera to individually label the tags.

I made a Start-to-Finish video of the tags HERE.

I am using Flip Flop Love. This particular stamp set will not be on sale BUT will be FREE when you purchase $30 or more on Release Day (while supplies last). The flip flops are so cute with the heart pattern. I added some Yellow Stickles on the straps for sparkle.

I kept this card pretty simple and flat, easy for mailing. Another item from My Style Stamps is the Lemon Yellow Sequin Assortment. This is actually the very first time that I have incorporated sequins into my cards. Love it!

I created a Start-to-Finish video that you can watch HERE

Let's Celebrate

Happy Sunday! My second card for Not2Shabbyshop featuring Sister Stamps: Sakura-chan & Sakura Set. I made a cute baby card.

The layout is similar to the Momotaro card. The banner and sentiment are from Lawn Fawn. All the images are colored with my Copics. I love how the purple color pops with the black background.

This card has lots of dimension. Using the Sakura set, I stamped the images in white ink in the background. All the elements are placed on top of a top note die shape from Stampin' Up!. I added some faux stitching with a white gel pen. Lime Green Stickles were appllied to the cherry blossoms for sparkle.

Last but not least, Sakura-chan is adehered to the card with an Action Wobble. Didn't I tell you that I'm addicted! Hope you don't get tired of these because I still have plenty to use up LOL.

For a closer look of my card, you can watch the video HERE.

Momotaro

Good afternoon! Okay I just made the cutest boy card ever...well in my opinion LOL. I am Guest Designing for Not2Shabby Zibbet Shop this month of June and I will be featuring the NEW RELEASE June Sister Stamps. First one up this month is Momotaro:

Isn't he adorable? I was at a crop with some friends and decided to color him. I currently don't have a Copic coloring video of him because I borrowed the "Peach" colors from a friend. As soon as I add those colors to my collection, I will film a coloring video =) BUT I do have a Start-to-Finish Video of the card assembly. You can watch it HERE.

My last card here, I fell in love with Action Wobbles. Guess what? I had to use them again in this card! I fussy cut Momotaro and one half of the peach and that is the part of the image that is interactive.

He is on top of layers of leaves from La-La Land Crafts (Open Leaf Flourish Die) and a Doily Die from My Creative Time (Stitched Doily Die). I used a premade corrugated cardboard card for my base. I had some Asian themed designer paper and jute rope to match his headband.

I love this card and I hope you did too. Thanks for stopping by! Come back for more projects featuring Sister Stamps.

*For the month of JUNE I will have a 10% DISCOUNT CODE: PAPERDRAMA
that can be used on your order from Not2Shabby.

Hoppy Easter

Happy Friday! Here is my last post for Sister Stamps. I used two images, Kimie (Release #21) and Masa (Release #6). I colored Kimie the same way as my first post, Masa is colored with Copics and paper pieced with Origami paper.

I created a little Easter scene using both images. I thought it would be cute to use the Origami paper for the cloud die cuts. My sentiment "Hoppy Easter" was stamped individually with alpha stamps. I also fussy cut and colored eggs from the Masa image as an added embellishment.
You can watch my Copic Video of Masa on my YouTube Channel here

I hope that you have enjoyed all my projects using the images from Release #21, available March 1st. For a list/link of the retailers carrying Sister Stamps, go to their blog.

Happy Easter Treats

Welcome to my second post for Sister Stamps. I decorated these kraft pillow boxes that I got from the dollar bin at Target. The images are Moon & Jade. Both were fussy cut and colored with Copics.

I used these chalkboard tags, also from Target. With a chalk marker, I wrote a Happy Easter message. The flowers are from BoBunny, hahaha I didn't plan that.

You can watch my Copic Video of Moon on my YouTube Channel here

These were simple and easy to create. I hope you enjoyed my post today. As always, see what the others created today:

Sister Stamps Guest Designer & SomeBUNNY Loves You!

Hello, I have some fun news to share. I have been invited to be a Guest Designer for Sister Stamps!

They make lovely Asian themed rubber stamps. Today I am using two images from the upcoming Release #21 March 1st.

Here are Kimie & Jade, I titled this card "SomeBUNNY Loves You".

All the images are colored with my Copics. You can watch my Copic Video of Kimie on my YouTube Channel here. I had so much fun coloring her and the bunnies. I didn't want her to look like she was floating on air, so I created a grass background with my Copics.

I hope you are liking the images for this release. Check out what the other Designers have created:

We hope our next years are as fun and this past year has been.

I'm delighted to be a part of this Blog Hop, Congratulations Lina for celebrating 1 year!!...and to many more!  So, without further adieu, here is the project I created for you today...

The card base is 5.5" x 5.5" and I used the Picture Perfect Sophie image. I just love anything to do with Polaroids  I decided to just color the inside of the picture frame and color the rest in a neutral color with my Copic markers. Over her bow & outfit, I used Xmas Red Stickles to make it pop. The bottom of the Polaroid was the perfect spot to stamp my sentiment.

I hand cut the heart in the background, added this heart doily border sticker that was bought at DAISO (Japanese dollar store). I kept the flowers all white and added some vellum leaves. Flat back pearls were the bling of  choice.

To celebrate, we’ve got some fun in store for all of you... Be sure to hop along to ALL of our DT and GDT member’s blogs and be sure to leave a comment on every blog in order to qualify for a prize. The comments will be CLOSED at April 22nd Midnight PST.
