Lindy's Stamp Gang
Hi Everyone! Welcome to Lindy's Stamp Gang's very first blog hop! Every one of our Designers has created a special project using their top picks of Lindy's Stamp Gang products. Here I have created a set of Valentine's Day cards for you:
The papers I used are from the K&Company - Valentine's Sweetheart Collection. These papers have a very vintage shabby chic feel to them. Soft pastel colors and vintage images completes this collection.

ATG Challenge

Arlene (mybutterflykisses12) is hosting an ATG Challenge for a cause contest on YouTube. You can find her video link to the rules here. So the challenge was to alter your ATG (Advanced Tape Glider). I was inspired by the tag that accompanied my Hello Kitty purse.

So here is what I came up with:

I think she is sooo cute. I only decorated the one side of the ATG gun. I didn't want to chance any of the embellishments falling off when I take it in and out of my craft tote. My glue of choice was Glossy Accents from Inkssentials. Head on over to my video here where I explain how I created this. Also there is a little surprise at the end of the video =)

Paper Rosette Embellishment

Here is another handmade embellishment for my mini love page swap. I created this using my paper rosette technique, seen here.

I love how this turned out. For the center I used this bead panel that I purchased from Michael's, from The Bead Gallery. It adds a bit of glam to the rosette. Thanks for passing by and I will have pictures of the actual finished 4x4 mini page, plus 2 tutorials showing how I created the front and back side of the page.

Pay It Foward 2011 Project

I completed this project using Tim Holtz's Caged Bird die. I bought this die a couple months ago and I am finally using it =)On Facebook (if you aren't my friend, go and add me - Jo Paperdrama), there is a post going around called "Pay It Forward". It reads: "Pay it Forward in 2011: I promise to send an original creation to the first 5 people who leave a comment here. They must, in turn, post this and send something they make to the first 5 people who comment on their status. The rules are that it must be handmade by you, and it must be sent to your 5 people sometime in 2011." I thought this was really cool and I decided to join in on the fun. Now I have committed myself into making 5 handmade projects for 5 lucky gals. I was brainstorming and this is what I came up with:

The base is a frame that was purchased at Michael's. I then added some burlap, feathers, a skeleton leaf and a handmade flower. The birdcage is adorned with bronze brads. I used Lindy's Stamp Gang's Moon Shadow Mists on the cage and on the flower petals, as well as the bird. Both the bird and the birdcage were cut from chipboard. I adhered some dictionary paper to the bird. Then it was inked with Walnut Stain and Tea Dye distress inks. As a final touch to the bird, I sprayed it with Burnished Bronze Glitz Spritz from Lindy's Stamp Gang.

I truly hope that the girls love what I am making for them. One down, Four more to go. Thanks for stopping by and you can watch my video here.
