Scrapniversary Crop
For the past 3 yrs my cousins and I have been getting together to crop in July. I love my family and I love to scrap, this is the perfect combo =) This past Saturday "The Scrapnificent 7" (that's what we call ourselves) got together for our 3rd anniversary.

We scrapped all day and we did a "secret santa" gift exchange. I got some great goodies/treats.

It was a hot Saturday and one of my cousins, Annie, brought Halo-Halo...mmmmm. If you are Filipino you know what this is. It is an ice shaved drink/dessert full of yummy goodness.
We had a fabulous time scrapping and catching up on gossip =) I {heart} my family, we are truly blessed to have each other.

Canvas Project
I am meeting up with a friend, Rina, this Saturday. We both decided to make a little handmade canvas project for each other. I had emailed her a picture of me and vice versa. This is what I made for her, the canvas is measured at 8 x 8:

The papers that were used were from Webster's Pages Lullaby Lane. I made my own flower embellishments using some music note paper from a RAK. To see me make this project you can watch Part 1 here and Part 2 is here. Thanks for passing by.

The Cutting Cafe` - Birthday Cards
Birthday Card #1

Hi Guys! Have you seen this cupcake set at The Cutting Cafe`? It is adorable. I made this card using the Huge Cupcake Cutting/Printable Stamp Set. The cupcake measures 5x5. You have the option to cut this image out on your digital cutting machines, but I opted to just print the image out on patterned paper and I cut it out by hand. You can watch me make this card HERE. At the end I chose to add the yellow ribbon and it was not shown in the video.
This second card was used using the same digital file but was attached to a standard A2 card. Both sentiments used on these cards were taken from the Birthday Greetings Inside and Out Set.You can view the making of this card HERE.
Birthday Card #2

Tag Share
Hi Everyone. I made this tag for a fellow scrapper. I just love making tags, I don't know why I don't incorporate these techniques to my greeting cards, it's basically the same size just different shape =) Next card. Well this is what I made:

I explain how I made this tag and the products that I used here. Thanks for passing by. Enjoy!

May Mini Page Swap - Fashionista
This is a mini page swap that I joined on Bona's blog: Keep On Scrappin'. The rules were to make a 4x4 mini page using the collection Graphic45 Fashionista. Each person was assigned a specific paper in this collection. I got Debutante. The base of the front & back page had to be one side of the paper. Another rule was to include this "twisted flower" technique. (A video of this technique can be viewed here). Also, on one side there had to be some sort of pocket to provide a journaling spot. So this is what I came up with:
Front Page:

Back Page:

A video of how I constructed this page can be viewed on here. I had a really great time creating this page. I've seen the other ladies' pages in my group and all I can say is "wow". This was a fantastic swap to be a part of. If you ladies have never tried doing a swap before of any kind, try it. It's super fun and you learn so many new techniques from other fellow scrappers. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend!
