Precious Gifts

Pheww! What time is it? Pretty late for a project, but I wanted to play with this Printery 6x6 Paper Pad from Prima Marketing. I used several papers from this collection on this card that I created. Several other beautiful paper pads from Prima are also available at Stamper's Dream. The image of the trio of bottles that I used is from Stampendous Cling Bottled Gift Sets. The "Precious Gifts" sentiment is also from that stamp set. I edged all the papers and image with Black Soot Distress Ink. Two little tiny black brads were added and I also distressed the edges of the paper that the sentiment was stamped on.

I love the crowns on those bottles, they add suck an elegant touch. I wrapped some Ivory Burlap String on one neck of the bottle and the other two I adorned with some rhinestones. The image is popped up on dimensional foam pop dots. I painted some Glimmer Glam in Hay Ride in the inside of all three bottles. So that is my card for tonight or is it morning already? LOL. Thanks for passing by!

Halloween Treats

Happy Tuesday everyone! I wanted to share with you guys these really easy Halloween treat bags that I created using the JustRite Tiny Halloween Sentiments at Stamper's Dream. I had used these sentiments previously on some Halloween Cards (original post here). These sentiments are versatile and can be used on more than one type of project.

The base of the treat bag is just a small plain black sack that I purchased at my local craft store, Michael's. You can stamp any image in the front with white pigment ink. The images I used are the Trick or Treat Oval Centers & Borders from JustRite.

I took some white seam binding and dyed them with my Starburst Sprays from Lindy's Stamp Gang. The treat bags can be filled with candy or even money =). The sentiments are stamped on scrap pieces of paper and I hand cut the ribbon tails. The tags are attached to the seam binding with a May Arts Black Burlap String. So there you have it. I made a video of this tiny project and you can view it here. Thanks for stopping by!

Charming, Lovely, Beautiful

Hi everyone! I've got another card for you. I'm so excited to be using this new Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Two die. This is one of the many brand new releases that are available at Stamper's Dream. My Spellbinders collection is ever expanding, I just want them all! I love the shape of this die, it perfectly framed the bird cage image from the MME Blush paper pad. I am going to use up this paper pad for my cards because I love it so much!

The edges of the papers were inked with the Distress Ink Spun Sugar. The color is so soft and it brought out the embossed edges of the die. I embellished the card with some small semi open rose buds, a clear crystal spray, some seam binding and a rose button from my stash.

On the bottom of the card I ran some Tim Holtz Tissue Tape. So there is my card share for you today, I hope that you guys like it. If you haven't picked up this yummy paper pad you are missing out....just sayin' =) Have a great rest of the week!

Happy Birthday

Happy Wednesday! It's time for a birthday card. This awesome stamp set is JustRite Shabby Chic Labels Four, available at Stamper's Dream. I love how these JustRite stamp sets are compatible with Spellbinders dies. I stamped the image on pattern paper and used the Spellbinders Labels Four Large die. The paper is MME Lost & Found Blush. I used the same card layout as my Halloween cards (original post here) but just reversed the placement. I kept this card pretty flat and only popped up the stamped image on dimensional pop dots. It's perfect for mailing.

The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is also from the same stamp set. I stamped it out on a rectangle shaped banner and cut the little ribbon tails at the end. I'm so addicted to making ribbon tails on my projects now LOL. I finished it with a mini rhinestone embellishment. The edges of the papers were lightly edged with Distress Ink Walnut Stain. A small strip of pattern paper was just placed on the inside.

Well there's my card and I hope you've enjoyed it. All the links of the products used are provided below. Have a great day!

Revamping a Paper Bag Mini

I was going through my old projects and I came across this paper bag mini that I created in March 2009 (orginal post here). Wow, talk about plain! LOL I decided it needed a face lift. So I gathered up my I Am Roses flowers and went to town.
Before:
After:
The cover was so0 plain and empty. I added some brown trim to the side and also to the binder rings. I used these beautiful white & blue large gardenias from the Mixed Blue Gardenia Pack. They totally filled up the empty space on the bottom. A few rhinestones and some misc latex flowers finished the cover. I added several small White Gardenias and Baby Blue Gardenias throughout the pages in the mini.

Some people say to not touch your old projects, to leave them as is to see your progress as a scrapbooker, but I just had to do something to this mini. Now I can give this mini as a gift and be satisfied with the quality that I'm putting out. All I did was just add some gorgeous flowers and I think that the mini is now complete. So get your old projects out and bring them back to life. Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Cards

Happy Thursday and it's time for another Stamper's Dream project share! It has been a weird weather week for me here in Cali, it's hot, then it rains, and it's hot again, ugh. Anyways, I was able to make these Halloween cards. The paper I chose to use is Echo Park The Apothecary Emporium. I used the fabulous new sets from JustRite Trick or Treat Borders & Centers Oval. These images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and were colored with my Copic markers. I also used a glitter pen on some parts of the images.
I used my small oval Spellbinders to cut the images out. Then I used foam pop dots to place them on the card for that added dimension. I used the JustRite Halloween Mini Sentiments. You can choose from 18 different phrases in this set. I had cut the banners and edged all the papers with Black Soot Distress Ink. As a final embellishment, I added three brads to the top of the banner tail. I used the same layout on all four cards, which made them fast and easy to replicate.

Thanks so much for stopping by, enjoy your day!

Nature Card

How's everyone's start to their Labor Day weekend? It's hot hot hot! I have an I Am Roses card share for you guys today. I was inspired by a card that I saw in the 2011 Stampin' Up catalog (for those who have it, it's on page 182). It was a very simple layout and I badly wanted to cut into my MME Lost and Found Two papers =). The luscious rose in the center is from a Random Mixed Sizes of Classic Brown Tones. The bird image is from a Martha Stewart stamp set that I had gotten in clearance a while back. The white cardstock that the image is stamped on was distressed with Antique Linen and cut with the Stampin' Up! Bigz Top Note Die.

My favorite go to flowers hands down are the Small White Flowers. I paired them with the Small Ivory Crochet Flowers. To complete the spray of flowers on the card, I added Brown/Black Semi Open Rose Buds on each side. The leaves I used were the Pale Green Leaves, in which were sprayed with my Gator Gumbo Olive Starburst from Lindy's Stamp Gang.

Enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend! I hope you are able to sneak in some crafting time in. To see how I put this card together, you can watch the video here. Thanks for taking the time to stop by!
