Retro Fresh Challenge - Autumn Colors

Hello it's me again, wow three days in a row! Well today's card share is for the Retro Fresh Challenge over at The Greeting Farm. The theme is Autumn Colors.  I am using Anya Blooms, which was released in March, so it does qualify for the 6 months or older requirement. Can you believe it, this was just released this year?! Time flies.

She is colored with my Copics and I added some shimmer accents with a Gelly Roll Clear Star Pen. I fussy cut her out and placed her on dimensional pop dots. I used my new dies from MFT, Leafy Flourish Die and the First Place Ribbon Die. The "Happy Fall" sentiment matched perfectly with this challenge's theme.

Take out your older TGF stamps and play along with this month's Retro Fresh Challenge over at the TGF Blog!

GOOD LUCK!!

Retro Fresh "Bring on the Sun"

What? Another card? Yep, this week is back to back projects/posts...busy busy. This Wednesday is the Retro-Fresh Challenge over at The Greeting Farm Blog. The theme is "Bring on the Sun", you can interpret this any way you want. I thought of the beach....Surfer Anya it is!

I thought to give her a tan, LOL. Still trying different colors for a darker skin tone, I really like this one. I double layered her hibiscus flower, I stamped the image twice and placed it on top of each other. I added some Stickles on certain elements of the image.

Another oldie but goodie TGF stamp set I used was My Guy Ian.  I used two sentiment stamps in that set, "Chill Out" & "Hey Dude", I blocked out "Hey" to just use the "Dude". I thought it was something that a surfer chic would say.

I can't wait to see your creations using older TGF stamps. Make sure you enter it in this challenge at the TGF Blog.

GOOD LUCK!!

...Come back tomorrow for another post =)

Retro-Fresh Challenge - Oh Boy

Oh Boy Oh Boy! It's time to bust out your old TGF stamps. This theme at the Retro-Fresh Challenge over at The Greeting Farm Blog is boys/masculine. I decided to use Cafe Ian

I had this really cute transparency from Hambly of mustaches. LOVE! To make Ian match, I drew a mustache on his coffee mug LOL. Not bad for my free hand skills.

He's colored with my Copic markers, as usual. I have a video of my coloring him here. I'm sure you guys have a Ian in your TGF stash, use it and play along with us. Good luck! Have a great Wednesday!

Retro-Fresh Challenge

Hello Wednesday! I promised you another project and here it is. It's a Retro-Fresh Challenge over at The Greeting Farm today. You must use a stamp/image that is at least 6 months or more older. The theme for this challenge are hearts. I chose to use Cheeky Rockabilly, love her, and Flutter Heart Clear Stamp. The background of the falling hearts are from that clear stamp set.

I had so much fun coloring her, I always have fun coloring. I stamped the hearts in the background and the image as a whole didn't feel complete. For some odd reason I decided to try to draw some sort of platform/stand for her to sit on. It wasn't a main focus so I like how it's not in your face "look at me I'm a stand" LOL. I tried my best on the shading part and that's how it turned out. I added some of my favorite heart pillow stickers and a XOXO to the card.

That is my card for today. There's something new and exciting to share with you guys Thursday! You won't be disappointed. See ya tomorrow!
