Penguin Palace - Crafty Friends Are The Best Friends

Hello everyone! Today's card is for Penguin Palace Stamps using the Stencils 360°™. The newest stencil tool that is a must have.

I created this shaker card using the Magical Fireworks Stencils 360°™ for my design. I then cut out a frame using the Dots Meet Dashes Large Rectangles Die. I inlayed the center piece and popped out the frame using dimensional foam adhesive. The sentiment "Crafty Friends Are The Best Friends" is from Words From The Heart (Chapter 1) Stamp Set. I filled the inside shaker with red heart and gold star sequins.

Here is my project for you today. I used the  Scents of Fall Stencils 360°™ along with the Stencils 360°™. This is such a unique and innovative tool that any crafter would love to create with.
(*Inks and Supplies listed below)

I paired it up with the sentiment "Merry X'mas" from the Warmest Wishes Stamp Set. I constructed a geometric shaker window using the large hexagon die from the Words From The Heart (Chapters 1 & 2) Coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts. I filled up the shaker with round gold sequin and red & green hexagon sequin bits. The card base is an octagonal shape, keeping up with the geometric theme. The card measures 5.5" x 5.5".

Club La-La Land Crafts September Kit Reveal

Hi everyone! It's that time again! Today I am revealing the Club La-La Land Crafts September 2020 Kit!

(*images are skewed to prevent piracy)

If you’re new to Club La-La Land Crafts, it's a monthly subscription only kit with exclusive products each month. Also included are project tutorials from the Design Team Members specific to the current kit. There are three options available for purchase:

Product Kit: Stamps and Die Kit - $39.99

Stamp Kit: Stamps Only - $19.99

Die Kit: Dies Only - $29.99

For more information click HERE.
Last day to Sign-up is September 30th.

This kit was so much fun. For my first card I used Marci with Laptop. I created her desk scene using all the dies in the kit: Retro Desk, Retro Lamp, and Desk Accessories. All images were colored with Copic markers. I used the paper pad Golden Sunset. I used the pattern paper for the wallpaper, desk cup, and the lamp shade.

I got creative and used the Polaroid die for the window frame. The sentiment I used was "GIRL, you've got this!", and this was stamped in the top right corner of the "window". The wood baseboard is a portion of the Large Stitched Tags Die. The wood flooring is pieces of a rectangle die in the Horizontal Pocket Die set. This whole kit gave me Mid-Century Modern vibes, including the designer paper.

For my second project, I used one of the piggies in Getting Things Done. He is cutely placed on a bean bag/floor cushion made from the Stitched Sun and Clouds Die. I used all the Dies in the kit. I placed the monitor on another drawer die cut from the desk as a riser. The wallpaper and lamp shade designer pattern is again from the Golden Sunset Paper Pad. The sentiment I used is the "Everything is Under Control" and placed it inside the monitor.

I popped out the desk drawer on foam adhesive tape and place the desk cup, two pens, the heart and a set of headphones. The headphones are actually from the Marci with Laptop stamp set. It is Marci's headband and ears =). To make a rug, I used a portion of the Scalloped Rectangles Die. I colored all the images with Copic markers. I added some White Gel Pen highlights on some of the images.

Kat Scrappiness - Halloween (feat. Fall Release)

Hi everyone! Today's cards feature the newest Slimline Dies and Sprinkles/Sequin Mix from the Kat Scrappiness Fall Release.

I love the pattern of the Chevron Slimline Die. Even though at first glance, it doesn't scream Halloween, I wanted to use it for my card. I chose a Candy Corn pattern paper as my base and cut the die out of orange cardstock. The letters were cut using the Condensed Uppercase Alphabet Dies, which are my go to alpha dies. I added some white gel highlights on the letters. For an added embellishment, I had these cute witch boots stickers from my craft stash. I chose to combine the newly released Candy Corn Sprinkles and Pumpkinlicious Sequin Mix as my shaker filler.

My second card features the Foliage Frame Slimline Die. For both cards, I used the Neverending Nesting Slimline Dies to cut the perfect size of backing for the shaker window. I used black cardstock for the frame. For the base of the shaker window, I created a night sky with Distress Oxide Inks (Black Soot, Mustard Seed, Wilted Violet, Seedless Raspberry, Faded Jeans). I then added some white splatters to mimic a starry night. The shaker filler is a combination of Bewitched Sprinkles and Mirrored Clear Starlight Sequins. Lastly, the images I used are from The Greeting Farm, colored with Copic markers.

Penguin Palace - Happy Thanksgiving (feat. Botanical Gardens Stencils 360°™)

Hello everyone it's Day 4 of the Penguin Palace Stamps Release Week. Today's card is using the Botanical Gardens Stencils 360°™ created with the newest innovation tool Stencils 360°™.

Are you ready for Fall?

It was fun getting inky with this stencil. I used Distress Oxide Inks (Mustard See, Tea Dye, Fired Brick, Walnut Stain) to create this multi-colored Fall inspired background. I cut the paper to size and framed it with a square scalloped die cut and frame.

The sentiment "Happy Thanksgiving" is from the Warmest Wishes Stamp Set and I cut it with the coordinating Warmest Wishes and Heart Felt Notes dies. Lastly I chose autumn colored flowers and leaves to frame the sentiment.

Kat Scrappiness - Treat (feat. Fall Release)

Hi everyone! I'm sharing this card I made using Wood Grain Framed Diamond Wire Slimline Die and Neverending Nesting Slimline Dies from Kat Scrappiness.

I made this slimline shaker card using two new slimline dies and sprinkles. I cut the Wood Grain Framed Diamond Wire Slimline Die out of black cardstock and only punched through some of the die cuts. The Never Ending Nesting Slimline Dies fit perfect as a backing for the base of the shaker window. I then took orange cardstock and cut it out of the Condensed Uppercase Alphabet Dies to spell out "Treat".

I then added these cute Halloween images from The Greeting Farm, colored with Copic markers, to the front of the slimline die cut. The shaker bits are from the new release, Jack-O-Lanterns and Pick Your Poison Sprinkles.

Here is a quick overview of my card:

Penguin Palace - Hello Sunshine (feat. Origami Shuriken)

Hello everyone it's Day 2 of the Penguin Palace Stamps Release Week. Today's card is using the Origami Shuriken Stencil created with the newest innovation tool The Stencil 360.

I love how bright and cheerful my card turned out.

I paired up this fun stencil with the newest release Words From The Heart (Chapter 2) Stamp Set, as well as the Summer Sunshine Stamp Set. All images are colored with Copic markers. The sentiment "Hello Sunshine" was paired up with the Warmest Wishes and Heartfelt Notes Penguin Perfect Cuts.

Using the Stencils 360 tool with the Origami Shuriken Stencil, I created this sun inspired image. The first layer was created with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink then the second layer was a combo used with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink. I fussy cut one image and layered it on top with foam adhesive tape for dimension. I am falling in love with this new tool.

Club La-La Land Crafts August Kit Inspiration

Hi everyone, welcome back! Today I'm sharing more projects from the August 2020 Kit from Club La-La Land Crafts

My first card features a gift card holder on the front. Even though going to the cinema isn't a thing at the moment, you can always create your own "movie night" at home. I used Marci, the Popcorn Die and Retro TV Die from the kit. I made the Horizontal Pocket Die into a large popcorn bucket. Using the Stitched Clouds Border Die to mimic popcorn, I laid down two layers and added some of the popcorn toppers from the kit.

For added embellishments, I used the Double Stitched Stars Die and the movie reel from the Photo Elements Die. Lastly, I placed some yellow jewels around the stars and popcorn die cuts. Marci sits atop the VCR and next to the remote control.

Popcorn Bowl - R22/R24/R27/R39
Retro TV:

For my second card, I used the cute critters in the kit. The french bulldog sits atop a pile of popcorn constructed with the popcorn topper die. Placed next to the dog is the Popcorn Container/Topper, the base is colored with a red Copic marker for the stripes. The kitty is placed sitting on the VCR. The VCR, TV Antennae and couch are all paper pieced with the Hello Life Paper Pack. All images are colored with Copic markers.

The first layer of images and die cuts are adhered with foam tape for dimension, as well as the popcorn kernels up top on the sentiment. The popcorn die cuts were inked with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink. I also created a small bowl with the Stitched Nested Circles Die. The stitched rectangles used for the sentiment is from the Horizontal Pocket Die.
