FFF - Christmas Wish

Awww sad face, this is the last Farm Fresh Friday for the month of December. The theme of this challenge is "Christmas Wish", to grant this wish is the Digi Cheeky Fairy. She is colored with my Copics and for her sparkly wings I used Stickles Star Dust. She is encased in a mason jar, that I cut from a Sizzix die and traced an outline with my white gel pen.

For the snow background, I used my favorite technique using Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays. I used two different white colors and tapped the sprayers over the cardstock. The cute banner has the perfect sentiment "your wishes will come true".

This card was so fun to make. She's a captured fairy, unlimited wishes! Come join in this fun challenge over at the TGF Blog

GOOD LUCK!

FFF - B&W w/A Splash of Color!

Hi my lovelies!I made a Valentine's Day card for you today. A bit early but whatevs =)The TGF Farm Fresh Friday challenge is up and it's "Black & White, with a Splash of Color!".

Here I use the Dreamy Kit and OA - Valentine from The Greeting Farm. My "Splash of Color" is red. I love the color combo Black, White and Red. I did a bit of doodling with the tiny hearts, the balloon strings and the faux stitching around the border. The heart balloons are from the Dreamy Kit, they were stamped in red ink and then I fussy cut them. I stacked the small heart circles to create a long balloon. I also added some balloon die cuts into the mix. The "Be Mine" sentiment is from the OA - Valentine set.

Lastly, I added some Xmas Red Stickles to her heart wings and the tiny heart that is next to the sentiment. This card was so easy but a lot of fun to create. Check out the amazing projects that the other DT members created over at the TGF Blog.

Come and play along and enter to win!

Happy Friday and have a fabulous weekend!

FFF - All that Sparkles

Happy Friday! It's The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday challenge: All that Sparkles. Here is a holiday birthday tag that I created using Birthday Anya 3. She is glittered head to toe in Stickles glitter glue. I colored her with my Copics and popped her up with dimensional foam dots.

For the background I cut out a snowflake using the TGF Snowflake Die, then I used it as a stencil mask and pounced white pigment ink all over it. I drew some faux stitching around the tag with a white gel pen.

I flattened a mini cupcake wrapper and layered a button and a glittered heart die cut for an embellishment. I also outlined in Stickles the banner die cut in the background.

Come join us over at the TGF Blog for this fun challenge. Have a beautiful day and weekend!

FFF: Baby Blue/Silver/White

Happy Black Friday! Are you still awake? Online shopping is the way to go!

Today's FFF over at The Greeting Farm is a color challenge (Baby Blue/Silver/White).

Here is the card I created for you. The birdhouse image is from the My Heart 6x9 stamp set. I didn't have an image for the base, so i had hoarded some pieces of cling rubber that were leftover trimmings of TGF stamps, and used a long narrow piece as the pole.

I used the same technique that I used on my previous "Let it Snow" card here. I blended two Distress Ink colors together for the background, not taking it all the way to the bottom so that it can remain white for the snow. For the snow effect, I used two white tone mists from Lindy's Stamp Gang and created droplets to mimic snow. Here is a mini video of myself creating this background. For the silver requirement for this color challenge, I had some 1/2" wired silver mesh ribbon and some mini silver flat back pearls.

Hope you enjoyed my card and come play along with us over at the TGF Blog.

FFF: Let It Snow!

Let it snow, Let it snow! is this Farm Fresh Friday challenge over at The Greeting Farm. Your project must contain either snowflakes, snow, a snowman, snowballs...you get the picture. Here is my card featuring the NEW Exclusive TGF Snowflake Die and Holiday Anya 3.

I created a snow scene in the background with Distress Ink colors for the night sky, white toned mists, and a tree image. The snow bank on the card is used with a make shift stencil that I cut from copy paper and a white chalk ink. The fallin snow is created by unscrewing the mist sprays and tapping on the flutes to create different sized droplets. I like the effect of the two different white tones, one is more opaque than the other to give dimension.

The Anya image and sentiment are both on dimensional pop dots, as well as the actually snow scene. I added some silver flat back pearls and Stickles for the sparkle & bling. This card was fun to put together and it makes a perfect winter/holiday card.

Thanks for stopping by, come join us on this challenge over at the TGF Blog.

GOOD LUCK!! Have a sunshine-y day!

FFF: Washi Tape

It's Farm Fresh Friday today at The Greeting Farm. The challenge for this one is Washi Tape/Tape Stamps. Here, my Washi Tape is an image from the My Heart set. I stamped it using Rich Cocoa Memento Ink and then fussy cut the image. The hearts are also from the stamp set. I stamped them in red ink and cut them out. The hearts are then glued on some twine string.

I had a new wood grain embossing folder and wanted to use it. That is the texture you see in the background. The mini "loved" sentiment also is from the stamp set. I kept this card simple today. Hope you like it and that you join us over at the TGF Blog.

Happy Friday and enjoy your weekend!

FFF - No Cards Allowed!

Happy Friday! For this TGF Farm Fresh Friday Challenge it's "Anything but a Card". I had a problem with this one, no joke. I've been busting out cards left and right this year, so I was totally stumped! LOL Well this is what I came up with:

I decorated this mason jar mug from the .99 Store. I have several of these to alter and that's what I did. I kept the decorations simple. The image I used is Limited Edition Queen Bean, she was part of the Alice in Wonderland collection. She is colored with my Copics and I glittered her crown, hearts and outfit with Stickles. I also drew a red heart on her face to make her more festive. The large hearts were cut from glitter paper using the Film & Polaroid Die Set. I used the same paper with a small heart punch. The black label wrapped around the jar was cut from the Tim Holtz Styled Labels die. I drew a border with my white gel pen to make the label pop out.

For the goodies in the jar, I wrapped them with black tulle. I painted a skewer stick with black acrylic paint and added some glittered die cut hearts. This treat jar can be used for a Wonderland/Halloween party. So that's my project for you guys today. Head on over to the TGF Blog to check out the other creations from our Designers.

Thanks for stopping by, have a fabulous weekend!

GOOD LUCK!!

FFF - Paper Piecing

Happy Friday! October Previews begin next week for The Greeting Farm, but first this is the last Farm Fresh Friday for the month of September. The theme today is Paper Piecing. I love paper piecing, it's faster than coloring and you can use scraps.

Here is my card for you, using the Royal Cutie Pies & Dreamy Kit.

I didn't do too much on this card, I just laid a base of designer paper that is matted. I stamped the banner, paper pieced it and stamped the sentiment on the bottom. The girl image is colored with my Copics and her dress/bow are paper pieced. The only embellishment I added was a small heart brad and some Stickled on her shoes and the heart on the bow. That's it.

Come join in on this challenge over at the TGF Blog.

GOOD LUCK and have a beautiful weekend!

FFF - Hip to be Square

Woohoo it's Friday! Let's start the weekend with the Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm. Today's title is "Hip to be Square", use three squares any way you want. Here's my card and I used three 1 3/4" squares. The image from TGF is Frou Frou Fabulous. I thought the sentiment that I used from KaiserCraft went perfect with the image because her eyes are closed. The large heart die on the card is from the Film & Polaroid Die set.

I like shape challenges, it gives me a chance to use my punches. Come play along with us over at the TGF Blog and enter a chance to win a TGF image.

GOOD LUCK and HAPPY WEEKEND!!

FFF - Picture This

Hello you happy people! It's Farm Fresh Friday over at The Greeting Farm. "Picture This" is today's challenge theme.

Here is my card using the Picture Perfect Set. There are two character images, I used the boy. He is colored with my Copic markers, also I usually use Neenah 80lb paper to color on but I switched it up and am using Gina K Designs 110lb paper this time. It's a much thicker cardstock that allows the color to not get absorbed quickly, which I think it makes it easier to blend in my opinion. I still love Neenah paper but am falling back in love again with Gina K.

The die cuts in the background are made from the Film & Polaroid Set. I only added some Stickles to the camera.

Thanks for stopping by. Join us on this challenge over at the TGF Blog and have a fabulous weekend!

GOOD LUCK!!

FFF - ANYA-licious

Hello Friday! Finally! For this Farm Fresh Friday Challenge, it is ANYA-Licious time over at The Greeting Farm. Use any ANYA image that you have to enter.

This challenge, I made a different kind of card, a Flip-it Card. This was achieved using the Sizzix Stephanie Barnard Flip-it Card Die. I got this die a couple months ago and I finally used it. This was so fun to make, I love interactive cards.

The only suggestion I have using this die, is to use double-sided pattern paper. It makes it easier to not to worry about the inside or the back of the card. You can always add additional paper as layers. I myself didn't listen to my own tip, so I had to kinda paper piece this card together. Either way it still was fun to make and I love the look of it.

Fancy Anya is colored with my Copics and sparkles with Star Dust Stickles on her dress/shoes and hair barretts. For even more girliness, I gave her some pearl earrings. I used the Mini-Fleurs Clear Stamp Set w/Die for the flower and leaves images. For the inside of the card I used the sentiment from Anya Blooms.

Okay there is no reason for anyone not to play along, you should at lease have one image of Anya right? After all, she is the star of TGF! Head on over to the TGF Blog to join.

GOOD LUCK!!

FFF - Back to School

Hello everyone, I wanted to post my card that I made for this

over at The Greeting Farm.

It's very simple, but a tiny bit of labor went into this card. I did some fussy cutting and added two layers of dimensional pop dots. I filmed a Start-to-Finish Video of this card. I don't do these videos often because I have to work my way around a camera in front of me, awkward set-up but it's all I've got LOL.

The theme for this FFF's challenge is "Back to School". The stamp set I used is the OA - Little Dreamer Set. This set is too cute with the backpacks! Not much explaining needs to be said about this card, I colored the image, I cut it out and added dimensional pop dots =)

You have 'til Thursday to enter over at the TGF Blog. Have a beautiful Sunday!

GOOD LUCK!!

FFF - Mix It Up!

Today it is a "Mix It Up" Challenge over at The Greeting Farm.

Pick two images (more if you like) and combine elements from both to make one image. Here I used Frou Frou Birthday and Birthday Anya 3 (both August Releases). The body's is Frou Frou's but you can spot Anya? I basically cut up Anya into little pieces LOL. I used the cake, of course, and it is the image to your left, red velvet flavor =). You can spot Anya's feet poking through on the bottom of the dress. I did cut off a layer of Frou's dress. For the hat, I used the heart and for the "feathers" it is Anya's pigtails! Hehehe. I wanted to use as much of the image as possible.

I describe this "new" image as Mardi Gras meets Eighteenth Century fashion. The image is both paper pieced and colored with Copics. Lastly, I added some red Stickles for all the hearts and also the strawberries on the cake.

This challenge was super fun, I loved challenging myself to basically make a "new" image out of two. Do give this a try and if you do, enter it on this Farm Fresh Friday's challenge over at the TGF Blog!

GOOD LUCK!!

FFF - "Gettin' Wiggy With It"

Happy Friday! Did you win from yesterday's blog hop? Check it out over at the TGF Blog. Today is:

"Gettin' Wiggy With It" is the title and theme of this challenge. You are to go crazy with your image's hair color, no brunettes, no blondes, and no redheads allowed =)

So I chose to go green. I actually only used two Copic colors for her hair. I really like how it turned out. This was a ton of fun. I think purple will be my next color =) The image is Boho Anya, her scarf is the only item that is paper pieced. I fussy cut the hearts from the pattern paper and used some Spellbinders dies.

Come join in on the fun and enter win!

GOOD LUCK!!

FFF - Lace and Pearls

Happy Friday! It's time again for:

Today's challenge is Lace and Pearls. This card features Blush Babette. I embellished her hair and outfit with some mini pearls. She's colored with Copics and her outfit is paper pieced. I layered to die cuts from Spellbinders and place them on dimensional foam dots. I had some resin roses that matched the colors of the pattern paper that I used.

The lace trim is an old one from Webster's Pages, may fave from their line. I just kept the layering simple since the pattern on the designer paper had a lot going on.

Girly and dainty is how I would describe my card. Come join us over at the TGF Blog for this challenge and enter to win!

FFF - Punches and/or Dies

Happy Farm Fresh Friday!

Today's challenge is to use Punches and/or Dies. I chose to use Dies from the Mini Clouds w/Die (cloud) and Film & Polaroid Die Set (heart). The houses and the sentiment are from the Dreamy Kit. The paper I used is from DCWV Sunday Afternoon. I love this paper stack!

The little hearts on the houses are colored with a Copic marker and covered in Xmas Red Stickles, gotta have the glitter. I'm sure everyone has either punches or dies in their arsenal of scrap supplies, so come on over to the TGF Blog and play along with us!

FFF - Red, White & Blue w/Ribbon

Happy Fourth of July!! In celebration of this holiday, our Farm Fresh Friday theme is Red/White & Blue and Ribbon.

Here is my card using Cheeky Lessons and the TGF Fence Die from The Greeting Farm. I colored her with my Copics and added some polka dots with my gel pen. The fence is embossed with tiny stars.

Across the top of the card is half a doily and a banner made from book text paper. I added some star die cuts that I colored with my blue Copic marker. I traced an outline of the star with a black fine point marker, added some faux stitching and some rhinestones.

Last I added a black satin ribbon with a heart button w/blue & white twine and also the word "Party". I think my card turned out very festive. Hope you guys give this challenge a try over at the TGF Blog.

GOOD LUCK!!

FFF - School's Out

Hey everyone, it's Farm Fresh Friday today! Check it out over at The Greeting Farm Blog

If you've been over to the TGF blog this week, you know that it's been sneak peeks of the July Release. I used the Film & Polaroid Die Set. Love the Polaroid, again perfect size for cards.

This would be a cute card to give to a teacher, just insert the child's/student's photo in the Polaroid. I used Cheeky Geeky and colored her with my Copics. Her glasses are so thin, I used a fine tip Sharpie marker to color it, then added some Xmas Red Stickles for some sparkle. I drew some polka dots on her hair band and her vest.

Okay guys, come and play along with us and enter your project over at the TGF Blog!

GOOD LUCK!!

FFF - Summer Fun

TGIF!! Oh boy June is coming to an end, one more week! Next week is July previews, eeeeeek! First let's get to this Farm Fresh Friday.

I used Winky Bean and I gave her hair a little trim =) She looks cute in smaller pigtails, I just wanted to switch it up since the last two Winky images were the same. I fussy cut her leaving out all the other images that came with the stamp. She is colored with Copics and glittered all over with Stickles.

I went for a beachy summer theme. She looks like she's wearing a sarong and a bikini top. I cut some flourishes out to mimic splashes of water. The sentiment "wanna play?" is from Anya Says.

This is a fun theme to play with for this challenge. Come on over to the TGF Blog and play along with us.

GOOD LUCK!!
