Avocado Arts - Season's Tweetings

Today's projects are made using the new stamp set "Season's Tweetings". Enjoy!

Card 1: Season's Tweetings

For my first card, I used the adorable bird images. I colored them in different colors. The "Season's Tweetings" sentiment coordinates well with the birdies. I framed them out in an oval and scalloped oval die shape.

Card 2: You're My Favorite Flake

My second card consists of one of two snowflakes in the stamp set and the "You're My Favorite Flake" sentiment embossed with gold embossing powder. I used snowflake pattern paper and a snowflake die. A nice and flat card, easy for mailing.

 Card 3: Snow much thanks

Lastly, for my third card, I used the snowman and the "Snow much thanks" sentiment. I made a shaker card, overfilled with sequins, micro beads and glitter lol. He looks like he's drowning in snow, which I love!

I hope you enjoyed my holiday cards. This stamp set was a blast to work with and perfect for this season. Thanks for stopping by!

Hollydays Cards

Hi everyone. Christmas is just around the corner...sort of and I am getting a head start on my holiday cards. I decided to use the "Hollydays" stamp set from Avocado Arts.

Card 1: Happy Hollydays

I used a simple layout for all three cards, which makes it easy to mass produce. I used the "Happy Hollydays" sentiment. The holly image is stamped twice and colored with Copic markers. To finish off the card, I added a red & white striped ribbon.

 Card 2: Oh deer...

The deer image is colored with Copic markers and placed on a dimensional pop dot. I used the "Oh deer..." sentiment in the set. Lastly, I added some red enamel dots for embellishments.

Card 3: Tis the Season

This last card, still using the same card layout, features the cute penguin from the "Decemberrr" stamp set. He's colored with Copic markers and placed on dimensional pop dots. The tree image is from the "Hollydays" stamp set. I added some Yellow Stickles to the star and red enamel dots on the bottom right of the card.

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your day.

Avocado Arts - This & That

Happy Sunday! Today's cards features a stamp from Avocado Arts.

Card 1: Showered with love

My first card uses the cloud with raining hearts and the sentiment "Showered with love". I created some cloud coverage up top with some dies and layered in the cloud image. I stamped it with a red pigment ink, opting to not use black ink, for a softer look. The sentiment is stamped on a strip of pattern paper and I added die cuts of a cloud and heart.

Card 2: Flamingo

For my second card, I used the Flamingo image in the set. Not using a sentiment this time, keeping the front simple and clean. I added some stitching detail with dies. Lastly, I wrapped bakers twine around the card.

Card 3: Just a Note

The last card used the "Just a Note" sentiment and the musical notes image. I placed some stitched circle die cuts randomly on the card and popped them up with dimensional pop dots. I stamped and fussy cut the musical notes image and placed it under the sentiment. This went perfectly well with the pattern paper that I used.

Hawt Dog

Hi everyone, here are my cards using the new "Hawt Dog" stamp set from Avocado Arts. So many options, let's begin!

Card 1: Lovin' you s'more every day.

This image is soo yummy. I colored with Copics and I used liquid applique to form the raised puffy goodness. I added a cute little heart die cut on the image, accented with Wink of Stella - Clear Pen for an added shimmer.

Card 2: You're HOT

I made a cute little tag to place on the card front. I stamped the bon fire image several times on the bottom of the tag, using a mask of the image to layer. I colored with Copics and I added some Yellow Stickles in the center of the main image. It's also popped up with dimensional pop dots. I threw in some red rhinestones for more sparkle.

Card 3: Franks alot...

Lastly, I used the hot dog image, colored with Copics. I also drew on the "ketchup" with Xmas Red Stickles. I fussy cut several of the hotdogs and layered them on top of each other. The white base is cut from a super hero die cut set. I think this kinda looks like a comic book card or something lol.

So those are my cards. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have fun with this "Hawt Dog" stamp set!

So Cool with Avocado Arts

Hi everyone! Are you ready for summer? My cards feature the new stamp set "So Cool".

Card 1: Thanks for the Pearl-fect Day!

I used a circle shape for my first card. The chose the sentiment "Thanks for the Pearl-fect Day!" and the clam with pearl image, colored with my Copics. The sea sand image is from an oldie but goodie, "Life's A Beach" stamp set. I layered the sand image and alternated the position to create the bottom of the ocean. The clam is covered with Wink of Stella in Clear and I adhered a flat back pearl for the embellishment.

Card 2: I really dig you.

My next card features the sentiment "I really dig you.", the bucket and shovel w/sand image. Again, I used the sand from "Life's A Beach" along with the sand dollar, beach ball, and sea shell. I fussy cut the shovel/sand and inserted it in a cut slit I made in the bucket, a perfect fit! I just added a piece of washi tape at the beginning of the sentiment banner for some color.

Card 3: It's the LITTLE things

Lastly, I kept this card simple. I used the sentiment "It's the LITTLE things" and the watermelon/ant image from the set. I laid down a big piece of polka dot washi tape and placed a grass die cut above it. The little ants look so cute!

Hope you enjoyed my cards using the "So Cool" stamp set. I can't believe it's June! As always, thanks for stopping by and make sure to come check out what the other Designers create over at the Avocado Arts Blog.

Have a fabulous day!

Pear-fect with Avocado Arts

Hi everyone, Happy Thursday! My projects for you today are three cards using the new stamp set "Pear-Fect" from Avocado Arts.

Card 1: Thinking of You

This card measures 4"x 4". I used the sentiment "Thinking of You" and the image of the flowers in a wheelbarrow. It's colored with Copic markers and I added some shimmer with the Wink of Stella Clear pen. The card base is a cream cs. Just a cute little card to let someone know that they are in your thoughts.

Card 2: You light up my life

This was pretty much a CAS card. I used the sentiment "You light up my life" and the lamp image from the set. Again it's colored with Copic markers and the Wink of Stella Clear pen. I used some stitched circle/rectangle dies to cut the cs and patern paper.

Card 3: love you sew much

Lastly, I used the sentiment "love you sew much" from the stamp set. I have a plethera of buttons, so I dug in and adhered them to the card forming a heart shape. In case you couldn't tell, LOL, I strategically placed a heart button in the center.

So those are my cards for you today. This set is delightful to work with and hope that you enjoy it as well. Thanks for stopping by and make sure to head on over to the Avocado Arts Blog to check out what the other Designers create!

Have an awesome day!

Avocado Arts - A Latte Love

It's Monday! Wishing everyone's week starts off beautifully! I was in the mood to create more Valentine's/Lovey dovey themed projects =)

I made two cards and a cute little goodie bag using the A Latte Love stamp set...again =)

Project 1: Be Mine
Something's missing here...it's the second "e" on Bee. I had used the Bees on my previous projects, so I masked off the "e" and had the sentiment read "Be Mine". I used kraft cs for the base of the card, die cut a heart and used potty people wood veneers. Simple.

Project 2: Stuck on You
For this goodie bag, I used the sentiment "Stuck on You" and the bandaid images. I stamped the bandaid onto the cork clothespin and also on pattern paper, that I then fussy cut out. I used smaller versions of the potty people wood veneers and several heart die cuts .

Project 3: Miss You...a latte
For my last project, I made an A2 card. The sentiment "Miss You...a latte" and the lattes are from the stamp set. The images are lightly colored with my Copic Markers. I masked off the steam image from the lattes. Again I used potty people wood veneers and coordinating pattern paper. How awesome that they were a perfect fit to lay over the images!

I hope you enjoyed all three projects. I really love how all of these coordinate. I really got a lot out of this stamp set and I know that you will too.

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your week!

Decembrrr

Happy Tuesday! Here are my projects using the new stamp set Decembrrr from Avocado Arts.

Let's Go!

Card 1: Thanks SNOW much
I made an oval easel card. Not your traditional Christmas color combo, but I went for a frosty bold look with the blue & black. I created this cute winter scene using the snowman, snowflakes and tree images. All colored with my Copics. For the puffy snow, I used Liquid Applique in white, love the dimensional effect it gives. The sentiments "Decembrrr" & "Thanks SNOW much" are one of the many from the stamp set. I added some snowflake die cuts and flowers to finish the card.

Tag 1: SNOW good to see you
Next up, I made this cute reindeer tag. The reindeer is from the Hollydays stamp set.

I used the tree image again, stamped and fussy cut it out several times to use in the background. "SNOW good to see you" is another sentiment in the Decembrrr stamp set. I coordinated this tag with my previous card. Oh did I forget to mention that I added the biggest red shiner for the nose? Adorbs!

Tag 2: You're SNOW wonderful
For my second tag, I used the pair of penguins in the stamp set. I colored them with my Copics and fussy cut them. Look they're holding hands! LOL I had this snowflake doily die and cut it twice, added some dimensional foam adhesive and layered them. I doodled some dots for a pierced look on the background. I used more of that Liquid Applique for the snow effect. The "You're SNOW wonderful" is yet another phrase included in the set.

Hope you enjoyed my projects for you. Thanks for stopping in today!

Hollydays

Happy Sunday! I created a trio of CAS cards that all coordinate, using the Hollydays stamp set from Avocado Arts.

Let's get started!

Card 1: Shine On
This set has the cutest reindeer! Here I stamped the image on 110lb CS for a sturdier base and colored him with my Copics. I then decided to trim the paper and pop it up over red CS. A few details were added with a white gel pen. A reindeer isn't a reindeer without a red nose, so I placed a red sequin for the sparkle. Lastly to finish the card, I added a red/striped bow up top. The stars and sentiment "Shine On" are from the set Just Be.

Card 2:
This card measures 5"x5". The tree image is used and it's embossed with gold embossing powder. None of the details of the words were lost when the powder was set. I used my circle dies to cut the image out and created a rosette border. It is layered over gold glitter paper. The red/striped ribbon makes another appearance to tie it in with the previous card.

Card 3: To U
My last card for you measures 3"x3". It mimics Card 2. I gold embossed the "To: and From:" tag image. It's layered over a small rosette and gold glitter paper is used on the bottom.

I love making holiday cards and this stamp set is amazing! Thanks for stopping in today!

BEE Thankful

Happy Thursday! The weekend is almost here, woohoo! Here are my projects featuring this month's Avocado Arts release:

Today I'll be sharing two Christmas themed projects and a Fall themed project. Let's go!

Project 1: You Warm Me Up!
I decided to make a cute little treat bag using the "You Warm Me Up!" sentiment, stamped on 110lb CS and colored with my Copics. I had the perfect paper to go with this hot cocoa theme. The treat bag contains two packets of hot cocoa and a paper straw. I added some burlap trim and jute rope. For a more holiday feel, I cut some red glittery snowflakes. Here is a video tutorial on how to make this treat bag over on my YouTube Channel: Paperdrama.

Project 2: THANKS
Keeping with the holiday theme, I created this Thank You card using the sentiment "THANKS". I used some designer paper that looks like a sweater and added more of the glittered snowflakes.

Project 3: Eat More Chicken

Hahaha, okay this card was so fun to create. I used the cute Turkey image in the stamp set and colored it with my Copics. To make the card more interactive, I placed him on an action wobble spring. He's just a normal turkey trying to get a message out there. The cute chicks and the sloped hills are from the stamp set Sassy Chick.

I added some leaves and burlap twine to create a Fall/Thanksgiving themed card. This may not be your everyday card to make, but I hope it puts a smile on the recipient's face =)

Be creative and have fun with this set! Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of your week!
