Hello Friend

Hi everyone, I'm back with another card share for you. This time I used Some Odd Girl Spunky Sprite Digi. I love fairies, always wanted to be one when I grew up. The main focus of the card is her. I have her being carried up into the clouds by two birds whilst sitting on a banner that says "Hello Friend".

I finally used these cloud dies from Memory Box, the perfect mini size. They were cut out of vellum paper and embossed with little polka dots. I just wrapped some burlap twine from May Arts around the banner. I used dimensional pop dots on the banner and the fairy.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my card. I will follow up me recreating this gal in a Copic video on my YouTube Channel, so keep a look out.

Have a great week!

Me + You

Hi everyone, I have a card share for you today. The main image is using TGF Miss Anya Night Out. Recently on my projects, I find that I really don't use pattern paper. It seems that I'm falling back in love with just stamping. Then again my next card might be all pattern paper LOL. Oh well, just go with it =)

The woodgrain backgroung is from Lawn Fawn Woodgrain Backdrops. The lettering is also from Lawn Fawn Milo's ABC's. I added some glossy accents to the heart and wrapped some baker's twine around the "tree". The card was looking a little too plain for me, so I added a stitched scalloped edge on the side, using My Creative Time's Fun Stitched Edges dies. This would make a cute Valentine's Day card.

I'm in the mood to color, stay tuned for another card =)
Thanks for stopping by!

Cards & a Crop

Happy Friday! I was able to create some cards yesterday with a bunch of my crafty friends. I used Some Odd Girl Stamps for the main images.

I kept these cards very simple and the girls were the main focus of the card. They were colored with my Copics. The balloons were cut from My Creative Time! Stitched Party Dies.

In 2014 I want to make a point to use what's in my stash. I've been using baker's twine in my recent cards and I love it!

The best thing about going to crops, is the FOOD! Deliciousness!!
(Chile Relleno Casserole, Refried Beans, Spanish Rice, Salad & Dessert - not shown)

The worst thing about going to crops, is coming home and having to put away all your supplies that you took. Ugh...gotta do that this morning.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

IAR January Challenge

Hello 2014! Happy New Year everyone! It's only the 1st day of the year and I already have a project for you. I created this for the January IAR Challenge going on at the I Am Roses Challenge Blog. Here I made some tags out of my mason jar die from Sizzix.

I created 2 large tags and 1 small tag. Here is a video of myself constructing one of the large tags.

I loved using the 1", 1/2" Roses in clusters. My fave filler from IAR are the foam head stamens.

These would be cute to attach to homemade gifts or baked goodies.

Come join us over at the IAR Challenge blog and enter to win I Am Roses flowers.
