March IAR Challenge

Hello again! Today a new challenge is up at the I Am Roses Challenge Blog

Today's project is an Easter card I created for a card swap with some of my crafty friends. The image is from Some Odd Girl Stamps - Bunny Girl Gwen. I colored her with Copic markers and used Star Dust Stickles for sparkle. On her skirt for polka dots, I used a white gel pen. I framed the image with a large stitched oval die and a large scallop oval die from C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps. The sentiment "Happy Easter" is from My Creative Time - To A Cute Little Chickie.

The center flower is a White R43. I flanked it with an Orange S3 Cherry Blossom and a Peach R6 Rose. My favorite small white flowers S10 finish the arrangement. Underneath the sentiment is a Peach S10.

So there is my card for this month's IAR Challenge. Hope you liked it. Thanks for stopping by and come join our challenge over at the I Am Roses Challenge Blog for amazing prizes.

February IAR Challenge

Happy Thursday! It's been a while since I posted on my blog. I've been on a "mommy hiatus" for the past two years, enjoying my little boy. I'm excited to start crafting again! Today a new challenge is up at the I Am Roses Challenge Blog
Here is a keepsake box that I created. As a mommy busy trying to raise a little human being, sometimes you don't have time to scrapbook all the pictures you take. So I decided to create this little keepsake photo box. I will print out one picture of every month for the first year of his life and put it in here. It's small and won't take up too much time to complete.
I used mainly cream and white flowers, with a pop of red. The paper I used is Webster's Pages Lullaby Lane and I distressed the edges. The photo is the ultrasound picture that I used to announce my pregnancy. The frame I used is from Tattered Angels. The photo box is finished off with some lace, a clock wood veneer and a little word piece.
Thanks for stopping by and come join our challenge over at the I Am Roses Challenge Blog!

Loads of Fun

Happy Wednesday everyone! It's time for a new project for the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, "Anything Goes".  Make sure you use a STAMP/IMAGE carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store in order to qualify.

My card for the challenge features Lawn Fawn - Loads of Fun stamp set and coordinating dies. Most images were colored with Copic Markers. Other images were paper pieced using Lawn Fawn - Perfectly Plaid 6x6 Paper Pad. I used a circle die to cut out the center of the washer and placed it on an Action Wobble Spring, a little flick and it will move. The sentiment is also from the stamp set. I added some Star Dust Stickles to the bubble images. Finally, I placed three red enamel dots on the top right corner.
