C.C. Designs June Release Blog Hop

Today is RELEASE DAY for all of our new JUNE products at C.C. Designs!! As you have seen from our Preview Days, all of these products are fabulous! For the month of June, we have 4 adorable character stamp sets, 1 Jumbo Numbers Die, and an awesome Make A Card Summer Die!


In addition, we have a Mid-Month Release that is also in the store now featuring 5 different characters and 4 sentiment sets. We'll be doing a BLOG HOP for the Mid-Month Release on Monday, June 13th so be sure to stop back by for a chance at another prize!

Here's my card for the hop.

I am using Roberto's Rascals - Splashies Clear Stamp. This image screams "Summer!" She's colored with Copic Markers and Stickles in Xmas Red, Orange Peel and Yellow. The sentiment "Make a Splash!" is from the stamp set. I also used MAC#16 - Summer Die from this Release. The dies are the sun, the water splashes and the summer word. I added some enamel dots on the bottom right corner for an embellishment. Other C.C. Designs products I used were: Scalloped Rectangles Die, Rectangles #1 Die, and the Oval Die.

C.C. Designs June Preview Day 1

Hi everyone! Welcome to Day 1 of the C.C. Designs May Release. Don't forget to join us Thursday June 9th for the NEW RELEASE BLOG HOP starting at the C.C. Designs Blog at 9am PST/12am EST.  Hope you enjoy the previews and the wonderful projects from the Designers!

Are you ready for Summer? Here's my card featuring Roberto's Rascals - Splashies and Make A Card - Summer Die Set. I am using two of three images from the stamp set. The boy and fish are colored with Copic Markers. I used some Yellow and Star Dust Stickles for the swim gear. The sun, water wave border and the cute little fishy die cuts are from the MAC - Summer Die set. I also stamped little bubble images (also included in the stamp set) in the background. I used the Circle Layering Dies and the Scalloped Circle Dies for the base of the water scene.

Lil Love Bug

Happy Wednesday everyone! It's time for a new project for the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, "Anything Goes".  Make sure you use a STAMP/IMAGE carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store in order to qualify.  

My card for the challenge features C.C. Designs - Swiss Pixie Lil Love Bug. She is colored with Copic Markers and glittered up with Star Dust and Xmas Red Stickles. The sentiment is from C.C. Designs - Little Pixie Sunshine stamp set. I doodled the line border with a red and black sharpie pen. I also drew the circles to mimic the wings. She is popped up on dimensional adhesive. Clean and simple is the way I went with this card.

  Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Today I'm sharing a card I made for the current challenge over at the Some Odd Girl Facebook Community. The theme is "ANYTHING SIMPLE & SOG Goes", be sure to use ANY Some Odd Girl clear stamp, digi stamp or cut file. The digi image I used is Tropical Piper. I am loving these head shots type of images.

I colored her with Copic Markers and the sparkle on the hoop earring and flower stamen is Yellow Stickles. I also added some Star Dust Stickles on the flower petals. I framed the image out using a circle die and a coordinating scalloped circle die. I don't normally color curly hair because I don't, lol, but I thought to challenge myself. I kept the card simple with one layer of pattern paper on the base of the card and just added two die cut words for the sentiment.

Sunshiny Days

Good morning! My card for you today features C.C. Designs Little Pixie Sunshine. She is from the C.C. Designs May Release. She is so bright and cheerful, love her sun balloon. I colored her with Copic Markers and used Yellow Stickles all over the sun. I added white polka dots on her outfit for some detail. From Make A Card #14 I used the border die to create a 3D hilltop as well as the rounded corner rectangle. The other dies I used are the Scalloped Circles and the Circle Layering Dies for the sentiment, which is also included in the stamp set.

It's Time to Party!

The image I used is C.C. Designs - Roberto's Rascals Cake Nancy. She is too adorable in her cake costume. I colored her up with Copic Markers and added Yellow Stickles to the stars. The designer paper is C.C. Designs - Rainbows 6x6 Paper Pad. I used an oval die cut and coordinating scalloped oval die cut for the image base. I added some tiny star die cuts to match the cake. The sentiment "It's time to party" is included with the stamp set, as well as two other phrases. Then lastly, I added some purple enamel dots on the bottom right corner.
