FFF - International "Thank You" Day

Yay it's Friday! That means there's a new Farm Fresh Friday challenge over at The Greeting Farm. Today is International "Thank You" Day and that is the theme. So here I made a card using CC Friday Night. She is so stylish with that fedora hat.

Parts of her outfit are paper pieced and colored with my Copic markers. I kept the card simple. I hope you find the time to play along with this challenge. GOOD LUCK!

Hi - Double Take Tuesday

Good morning Tuesday! This is my first Double Take Tuesday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm. The challenge is this sketch by Jessica:

And here is my card:

I kept it very simple. The stamp I used is Gracie (New January Release). She is freakin' adorable! I colored the image with my Copic markers. Her hat was fun to paper piece. I also added some Stickles to her flower and skirt.

The flower on the card was made using some I Am Roses flat daisies and a resin flower embellishment. I was able to use my scraps that I had to create this card.

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to share my first FFF project for The Greeting Farm. Check out all the details for this contest over at the TGF Blog. The new releases are so stinkin' cute, you can find them here. I chose to use "Sitting Wonderful". So this Friday's challenge is to use "something new". My "something new" was this embossing folder from QuiKutz - Sketchbook. Two folders came in a pack and I decided to use this one:

I kept the card very simple and focused on the embossed pattern paper as the background. That couch stamp was just asking me to paper piece it LOL. The "You're Positively Wonderful" sentiment is from the same stamp set as the girl. Her skin, hair and clothes were colored with my Copic markers. I will try to get a Copic video tutorial out on her, so keep an eye out over at my YouTube Channel: paperdrama.

Happy 2013 & Announcement!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone had a fantastic New Year's Eve. Mine was low key and spent in my pajamas (comfy, cozy, toasty).

Well it's a new year and a new scrap adventure awaits me. If you haven't stopped by The Greeting Farm's Blog you should check it out. They announced their new Showcase DT (Jan-June) and guess who is it in!? ME!!! Woohoo! I am so excited to create alongside those fabulously talented ladies.

December IARCC "All Wrapped Up"

Hello! Happy Monday and December! November just flew on by. It's time for another I Am Roses Color Challege. You can find all the details over at the IAR Challenge Blog. This month's theme is Christmas Gift Wrap. As you can see I made gift bags using brown paper lunch bags. I have tons of these in my craft room, back when I used to make paper albums. These are really cheap and affordable at any grocery store.

I simply embossed the bags with my embossing folders from Cuttlebug. The monogram tag is made from burlap trip. I had several colors and decide to use the red & green ones that were cut into little fish tail banners. The I Am Roses flowers that I used are listed below. I wanted to make them look like holly, so I grouped the three red roses together and laid them on top of some green daisy leaves. I also added some white mini rose buds.

These tags were really easy to make and I made several for gifts. I also put them on this small embossed glassine bag for smaller presents. All the tags were attached to the bags with jute rope and I threaded a jingle bells ball with it. It makes a really festive noise when you move the gift =)

"Naughty or Nice" Christmas Gift Box

I was in a crafty mood and I decided to make this Christmas gift box. It is an A2 Standard size card box. I wanted to color an image from The Greeting Farm's "Naughty or Nice" Stamp Set. I chose the angel image.

November IAR Sketch #2 Challenge - "Thankful"

Here is my take of the sketch. The picture I used is of myself (left) and my friend Rina (right). This was taken at a crop that I hosted at my place. We had so much fun with our scrappy friends. I kept the layout pretty simple and clean in my opinion. I only used 1 12x12 sheet of paper and a tiny piece to mat the photo.
