My First Copic Card

Hello. I recently purchased this new stamp from AllThatScraps. After watching a ton of youtube videos on copic tutorials and after hours of practicing (not really) this is what I came up with:

I absolutely love how it turned out. This image took me about an hour to color it, only because I was stumped on what colors to use. It wasn't really a Christmas image stamp but I decided to make a Christmas card. Her wings are covered in SU! Dazzling Diamonds glitter, love it. I took my white gel pen and added some highlights. The one thing I do need to invest in is good copic compatible white cardstock paper. Any suggestions??

I have a new resolution....yea I know a little late but whatever. I don't like how crazy my paper scraps stash is getting. So I decided that after I finish whatever project I'm working on if I have any scraps leftover I will use them. For example, I just finished my Tammyi case and I was left with a few scraps, big enough that I thought it would be a waste to throw them away, which is always the case. So with my new resolution in place, I took the scraps and made something, in this case I made cards. I needed some greeting cards to give out and when I went thru my stash I didn't really have a lot to choose from. So it got in my head that I need more card selections and what a better way to get that is to use the scraps left from my projects right then and there. I came out with 3 cards using my scraps. Here they are:

I really like how they turned out and now I can add them to my card stash! Also I did have one other scrap strip left and this is what I did:

I punched some tabs. I can always use these on another project, they are ready to go when I need them.

My Tammyi Case

Hi guys. Here is my finished Tammyi case that I altered. My friend Tammy sells these in their original state (denim cases) at her etsy store. They are awesome. The cases can hold a lot of stuff, I placed my bling/beads and journaling supplies inside. Check out my video for a closer look. I used October Afternoon paper and some Cosmo Cricket paper. Lots of Prima crystal flourishes and their flowers. I glimmer misted the flowers with Coffee Shop (my fave) and Red Velvet. I have another case of hers that I also altered with Basic Grey paper and will post pics up later. Enjoy!

New Video! Moolah Monday!

Hey Guys, check out my scrapbook haul from Michael's. Moolah Monday is my sister Patty's idea. It's a scrapbook haul of what scrap stuff I bought recently. Just don't expect a video every Monday......at least every other Monday, lol! Enjoy!

Sunday Card Share

Hi guys! Just playing with scraps this Sunday and came up with this card. I embossed the manila tag and distressed it with Tim Holtz's Tea Dye and Walnut Stain inks. Did some faux stitching and doodling with my white gel pen. The cherry blossom sticker is courtesy of Jolee's and the flower in the corner is Prima and I stickled the center with Golden Rod and stuck some "pearls" in the center to mimic the sticker embellishment. The owl is a Hampton Art stamp and I colored it using Copic markers. Thanks for looking.
