U R "Like No Udder"

I was playing around with this cute stamp from SU! today. I love their funny pun stamps. I stamped the cow with black stazon ink and I used a blender pen to color in the pink/black areas of the cow. I then used a glue pen and sprinkled some Dazzling Diamonds (love it!) from SU!. The letters are American Crafts Thickers. The pink polka dot paper is from Bo Bunny. I love the color combo of pink & black. Just a touch of ribbon and some faux stitching completes the cards. If you're interested in purchasing these cards, I will be posting a set of 3 each in my Etsy store soon. Thanks and hope you enjoy!

Quick Card Share

Just something to share, this is a lollipop stamp I got for $1 at Michael's. I used my blender pen and SU! ink pads to color the image in. I then used my glue pen and colored all over the lollipop image and sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds (SU! product). The pink sugar paper in the background was cut with my "Top Note" die from SU!. The smaller die cut is from my QK Revolution "Label" die.

Sitting Pretty

Here's a layout I completed using Basic Grey "Porcelain" Collection. I thought that this paper was funky enough for the 70's. This is a picture of my mom in 1973, I wasn't born yet...you can tell she still has a smile on her face, lol! If she only knew what was to come...just kidding, I'm a good girl. The photo is a little fuzzy, I scanned the original and printed it out. I love to create my own embellishments and I did that using the scraps I had leftover to make my flowers. I used my QK Silhouette to cut that vine design.

Can anyone say enabler?

I've been called an enabler from many friends and family members and I would like to live up to it. As I was blog hopping this morning (my daily wake up routine), Amy @Tsuruta Designs posted a link to this great place for scrap goodies. Thanks Amy! If you like Peachy Cheap then you will LOVE Crop Chocolate! Same as Peachy Cheap they list one great item everyday for purchasing. Just another link to subscribe to or add to your Google Reader, lol! Okay I've done my enabling deed for the day, happy shopping!

Private Class

Last night I taught a private class at my LSS and I am beat. Jessica, who was the birthday girl, really liked my paper bag class and wanted me to create one especially for her and her friends. It was a class size of ten and let me tell you it was a challenge for me, as far as prepping. I double checked and triple checked all my kits to make sure that all the embellishments were accounted for. All in all I had a blast. Here are a few pics.

This was the paper bag album and the kits that I put together. It looks all neat but my scrap desk begs to differ.

I made some treat bags for the girls and I used my QK Silhouette and cut out these cute little french fry boxes. Each little goody had the girls' initials on the tag.

I made the birthday girl her own little goody basket (I knew there would come a time that all my hoarding of my scrap stuff would come to good use, lol). I got this cute green blinged out tiara at Target for a dollar, awesome deal. I also made her this birdie magnet, with all the trimmings of bling. And last but not least I couldn't forget a birthday card. I again used my Silhouette (Love it!) to make this cute cake card for her. The paper I used was DCWV "The Glitter Sweet Stack". Phewwww! Time for bed.

Fabulous!

This Saturday I was at a 12hr crop at Scrapping Lounge and I got to play a little bit. I created this star chipboard album using my scraps from my previous class. I'm lovin' black sugar paper from Doodlebug, my butterfly die and birds die from Quickutz. I also used some rub-ons from American Crafts and I did a little doodling with my white gel pen. Of course I had to add some bling. I showed this album to my BF and he said it looked kinda Tim Burtonish, lol, thanks sweetie...I think. I think it looks very diva fabulous, hahaha. **This item can be found at my Etsy Shop.**

A Year in Cards, February 2009

This is a card that I made for one of the classes @2Peas. It's a slider card that is held together by a brad on the top corner. The circles were cut out using my Coluzzle circle template. The paper I used was from Colorbok - Forest Friends. Kristina Werner (Garden Girl @2Peas) has a video tutorial on this card class. The handmade paper flower embellishment was really fun and easy to make, check out her video. Enjoy.
