Filming Paperdrama

This is a hanging sign that I created for myself to post at my door when I am filming my YouTube videos. People who upload videos on YouTube know that the worst thing that can happen to oneself while filming a tutorial or any kind of video, is getting interrupted mid project. This is what happened to me on several occassions, and let me tell you, it's not pretty. I've already glued paper together and had already started the video and in walks my brother talking blah blah blah while I'm filming. Arghhhh! Of course the paper that I am using in my project is limited and I can't just start fresh. I had to carefully separate the pieces and start again. Well no more! LOL. This sign is suppose to stop all intruders from ever walking in unannounced and ruining my project. My sign has a vintage shabby chic feel to it. I used the Melissa Francis Chipboard Bracket as the base of my sign.
I used my Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays to add the final touches to this project.
LSG Starburst Spray - Opal Sea Oats
LSG Starburst Spray - Sea Mint Green
LSG Glitz Spritz - Burnished Bronze
LSG Glitz Spritz - Desert Moon Cactus Gold

Here is the video that I created to explain how I used these sprays in more detail. Thanks for taking a look. Maybe this will inspire all of you YouTube film makers to create your own sign.

"A Cheeky Xmas"

I made this for my friend Rina (you can check out her blog Scrapmusubi). We both agreed to create something for one another using The Greeting Farm - A Cheeky Xmas stamp set.

As always this was a fun little project to create. I recycled a Del Monte Sliced Peaches fruit jar, any glass jar will do. I just so happened to have an abundance of these empty peach jars (thanks Costco) on hand.

The vellum wings were misted with Lindy Stamp Gang - Creme Brulee Cream Starburst Spray. I also painted the color on all the fur trims. It gave it this beautiful gold iridescent shimmer. Various cutting dies were used:
Sizzix - Snowflake 655545
Revolution - Tatoo Art REV-0095
Revolution - Butterfly REV-0088

Please watch the video below if you are interested in how I assembled this. Thanks for passing by and I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Embossed Flowers

Hi everyone! I've been playing with my Lindy's Stamp Gang Moon Glow Embossing Powders and I love love love it. These embossing powders are two-toned and provide lots of shimmer to any project. Here, I applied the embossing powders to plain white flowers.

Accenting w/Magicals

The Magicals, aka mica powders, from Lindy's Stamp Gang are amazing. They have this two-toned effect that will add a little something extra to your images. Here I show you how I used these magicals to color certain areas of my images.

In this card, I colored the Mad Hatter's hat, his coat and his socks. Also the tea pots in the background were lightly colored with Ponderosa Pine. These pictures don't give these mica powders justice. When they catch the light at the right angle the images come to life.

This image from The Greeting Farm was colored with my copic markers initially. I then followed up with the magicals: Witch's Potion Purple and Freaky Franken-Lime (Haunted Halloween Magicals Set). You can watch a video of me using these here.

The great thing about these magicals is that they have a built in fixative already combined. There is no gum arabic or sealant needed. The mica powders will not rub off. I hope you guys enjoyed my first little tutorial as a Designer for Lindy's Stamp Gang...more to come. Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Hey guys, this is my second post today. I was contacted by Tracey from Lindy's Stamp Gang, to join their Design Team! I am soo excited. If you haven't heard of this company yet, you should head on over to their website Lindy's Stamp Gang. If you love Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, you will definitely love their products.
