Rice Rice Baby

Good Morning! Time for a new challenge up over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog"Anything Goes" is the theme for the challenge BUT make sure you use a STAMP/IMAGE carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store in order to qualify.

How adorable is this penguin? The stamp set I used is from Sugar Pea Designs - Rice Rice Baby. This image has been out but I finally got my hands on it and love it! He is colored with Copics and highlighted with Wink of Stella Clear. I'm using the new release from By DIEzynes Dies - Double Circles. They give that added stitching outside of the circle die. The image is popped up on foam adhesive. I added two toothpicks to mimic chopsticks. "Have a Rice Day" is one of the many sentiments included in the set.

Would this be considered CAS, I think so. So there you have my card. I hope you all have a crafty weekend and an awesome Easter for those who celebrate!

Live Every Moment

Good Morning, time for a new challenge up over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog. "Anything Goes" is the theme for the challenge BUT make sure you use a STAMP/IMAGE carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store in order to qualify.

Here is my card using Pion Designs - Shoreline Treasures 6x6 Papers. This particular collection has a vintage, beachy/nautical theme, with soft blues and creams. I wanted to create a very serene card. The edges of the papers are distressed with the Tim Holtz Distresser. My main focus of my card is the girl image. To frame the swimmer, I used By DIEzyne - Stitched Circles

The sentiment "live every moment, love everyday, love beyond words" is from Mama Elephant - Everyday Greetings. I added an extra fishtail banner to incorporate more of the lovely designer paper. The base of the card is corrugated cardboard. I added some flowers, flat back pearls and seam binding. Behind the image, I added a piece of burlap trim.

I did a wash of color using Copics B0000/B00. The little stars are from the stamp set, they are accented with Wink of Stella Clear. The little hillside was created with Mama Elephant Landscape Trios dies and popped up with foam adhesive.

Good Day Sunshine

Happy Wednesday! Welcome to a new challenge today up over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog (Anything Goes with an Optional Twist "Use Green"). Today's image is from Whimsy Stamps - Sally Hangs Her Heart on a String. She is colored with Copic Markers and accented with Wink of Stella in Clear. I also used a white gel pen to color in the freckles and the white polka dots on her outfit. The image was trimmed with an oval die and I lightly traced the outside with my red Copic Marker. It is popped up with dimensional foam dots and placed on the left corner so I wouldn't cover the wording on the paper.

The paper is from Simple Stories - Good Day Sunshine. I guess you would consider this a CAS card. Other than some red twine and heart punch outs, those were the only embellishments I used on this card.

There is still one more image from this collection that I plan on using, so stay tuned for that. Thanks for stopping by! Come join us over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog!

Happy

Happy Saturday! Is anyone up and crafting today? I created a simple card using the MFT Die-namics Proof Positive and Mama Elephant Happy Script Creative Cuts die.

No coloring for my today but I did go a bit Die crazy. I popped up the Proof Positive die cut on dimensional foam dots. I didn't have gold foil paper, so I heat embossed gold embossing powder on some white cs, then I cut the paper using the Happy Script die. I needed leaves for my flowers, so I used the Open Leaf Flourish die on white cs.

So there you have my card for today, I really like how it turned out. Thanks for stopping by as always and have a crafty weekend! Come join us over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog!

XOXO

Good Morning! Here is my card for the new challenge up over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog. I created the base of this card using dies from By DIEzynes - Half Oval/ Pierced Ovals/Side Step Card. The Half Oval Die was positioned a little bit more to the left, it leaves me space to the right for embellishments.

I'm using the image Savannah Has a Crush from Whimsy Stamps. She is colored with my Copics. The oval frame is the Pierced Ovals and the designer paper is Simple Stories - Vintage Bliss.

I used the Side Step Card rectangle insert dies to do the inside of the card. From the stamp set "XOXO" is one of the sentiments included in the set. I finished the card with some yellow twine and flowers to match the color scheme.

Good Fortune

Good Morning! There's a new challenge up over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog (Anything Goes with an Optional Twist "Sweet Treats).  So this is what I created, a pillow box treat bag using Mama Elephant Pandemonium and Pandemonium Creative Cuts Dies. An Asian theme with a Valentine's twist.

It's not visible in the photo, but I did lightly shade the panda with my Copic Markers and highlighted the chopsticks with Wink of Stella Clear Pen. The nested circles are from By DIEzyne Dies Stitched Circles Dies. The chopsticks, takeout container and the sentiment "good fortune will be with you" are from the set Lawn Fawn Good Fortune and Good Fortune Custom Dies.

The pillow box is from the dollar bin at Target, last year's Valentine's goodies =) I finished it with a red satin bow.

I'll follow you anytime

Hi everyone, I'm here to kick off the weekend. If you haven't already, there's still time to enter our current challenge over on our 7 Kids Challenge Blog. Today I'm featuring the cute stamp from Lawn Fawn - Hedgehugs. They are colored with my Copic Markers, soo many browns for that little cutie..hahaha. I used a sentiment from an older set, Lawn Fawn - #awesome. I placed it on a fishtail banner, laid a heart die cut at the front and covered it with the Wink of Stella Clear Pen. All this layered on top of a cloud, Mama Elephant - Landscape Trio die.

A simple and cute Valentine's Day card. Hope you enjoyed my card as always.

Friends 4 Ever

Hi everyone! Can't wait to share this new card that I created for the 7 Kids Challenge Blog! Using C.C. Designs Swiss Pixie Cupid and the coordinating Cupid Outline Die together made it easy to achieve the perfect cut. The hearts and flower die cut are included with the Outline Die as extra embellishments. She is colored with my Copics and higlighted with Wink of Stella Clear pen and Crystal Stickles. The oval is cut from By DIEzynes Pierced Ovals Dies.

For the background, I used Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6x6 Paper Pad. I embossed a woodgrain image in white from the Lawn Fawn Woodgrain Backdrops stamp set onto vellum paper. The "Friends 4 Ever" sentiment is also from that set. The arrow die cut is from Spellbinders Shoot! die.

I think this card makes a sweet Valetine's friendship card. Cross your fingers that I actually mail it out or give it away =)

The designer paper is Simple Stories Vintage Bliss. I used vellum for the MFT Dainty Doily Die. The inner circle is from By DIEzyne Dies Stitched Circles. I added some hearts in the background with a stencil and texture paste, for more of a pop they're colored with Copics.

I added some lace trim, a scalloped wood veneer and flowers from my stash. For the leaves, I used La-La Land Crafts Open Leaf Flourish Die.

Good morning everyone! Here's my card for the NEW challenge going on over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog! The challenge is "Anything Goes - with an Optional Twist (Let it Snow)".

I have an addiction to all things Owls...cute ones. Here is the Spellbinders It's a Hoot Shapeabilities die, major cuteness overload. You can use this die cut as one piece or you can individually cut out each owl. I chose to use it whole and I Copic colored just one owl. For some sparkle, I used the Wink of Stella Clear Pen over the owl. The die cut piece is adhered to the card with dimensional foam dots. The snowfall background designer paper is from Lawn Fawn Snow Day 6x6 Paper Pad

HAPPY NEW YEAR's EVE!! Where did 2014 go??? I can't believe another year is passing and that tomorrow will be 2015! Well let's get this party started!

For the last challenge of the year over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, I created this card using Saturated Canary - Bowie. She is colored with my Copics and accented with a little shimmer with the Wink of Stella - Clear brush pen. Her cheeks are colored with some shimmer chalks and I used a white gel pen for her freckles and the dots on her bow. She's a cutie!

The floral designer paper I used is from Echo Park - We Are Family. Bowie is framed with By DIEzyne Dies - Stitched Circles. Of course I had to add a red satin bow on the card =) Lastly, the sentiment "Someone like you should be celebrated every day" is from Mama Elephant - Make A Wish

THANK YOU for all your lovely comments this year and your continued support! I love that I can share my creations with everyone on my blog.

i love you {thisssss} much!

Good morning! Did everyone survive this holiday season? Who's hitting up the stores this weekend?? Not me...maybe..LOL

Here is a CAS card using the adorable stamp & sentiment from Mama Elephant - Pandamonium and the coordinating Pandamonium Creative Cuts Dies.  The cute little panda is propped up by using Action Wobbles Springs, with a little flick of your finger he wobbles =)

Lastly, to add a pop of color, I used the By DIEzynes Dies - Stitched Circles on red cardstock. Love the stitched detailing on the perimeter of the circle.

Thanks for stopping by and see you soon! Don't forget we still have a challenge going on over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog!

kiss kiss, i love you.

Good morning! It's a NEW challenge over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog! The challenge is "Anything Goes - with an Optional Twist (Christmas)".

I love pandas, they are adorable animals that I just want to cuddle! LOL This is the first shaker card I've ever made....seriously. I always wanted to but never tried. It was pretty easy. All you need are some nesting dies to make the shaker portion, in which I used the By DIEzynes Dies - Stitched CirclesHere on my card I am using the stamp set Mama Elephant - Pandamonium. There are several panda images in different sizes and poses. I used three and I made the scene of two of them kissing one panda under the mistletoe. Lastly from the stamp set, I used the sentiment "kiss kiss, i love u.".

To fill up the shaker card, I used sequins and beads from my supplies and the red from Sulyn - Mixed SequinsThe hearts inside are from the stamp set, it's colored with Copics and accented with Wink of Stella - Clear Pen. The little mistletoe branch is from a Christmas spray and I added red sequins for the berries.

Season's Greetings

Happy Saturday! I'm sharing my Season's Greetings card using the By DIEzyne Dies Side Step Card die. I can't get enough of this die. I know that this die will be a forever favorite. Accompanying this die is MFT Die-namics Dainty Doily.

I'm still in holiday greeting cards mode. The sentiment "Season's Greetings" is from Mama Elephant Season's Greeting embossed in gold embossing powder. I paired up gold glittered cs with the Simple Stories DIY Christmas designer paper.

To complete the card, I added some gold sequins from Mixed Sequins by Sulyn and flowers from my stash.

Let it Snow...again

Good Morning! Only a couple more weeks 'til Christmas...eeek! I'm sharing my Let It Snow card using the dies designed by our talented Rhea! The die I used is the By DIEzyne Dies Side Step Card. I love love this die. It's the perfect die to create this look and also it comes with all the trimmings to make the mats.

No need for designer paper, I kept it monochromatic with white cs. Another die I used is from MFT Die-namics Dainty Doily. It's the largest doily in the back. The inner doily is from another set with the same style.

The "Let it Snow" sentiment is from Mama Elephant Season's Greeting. Lastly, I added some pearls and this glittered star branch for some sparkle.

Paper Doll Marci

Good morning! Happy Wednesday! It's time for a NEW challenge over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog! The challenge is "Anything Goes - with an Optional Twist (FALL Colors)".

I recently aquired La-La Land Crafts Paper Doll Marci Winter and I immediately had to use her. She is colored with my Copics and used some shimmer chalk for her cheeks. For her freckles, just a white gel pen to draw on the dots. I decorated her sweater with a birdy from Lawn Fawn Chit Chat. She's so versatile, you can use her for any ocassion.

The designer papers are from Simple Stories Cozy Christmas & DIY Christmas. For a more rustic look, I had cut some burlap into a fishtail banner and adhered that to the card. Instead of using rhinestones or brads, I used these wooden "enamel" dots that my friend had gifted me.The image is layed on top of a doily cut from the designer paper.

The FALL colors that I chose were brown, olive green and orange. I used flowers from my stash and also an orange flower from Magnolia Vintage Tinsel Dahlias. For the leaves, I used the La-La Land Crafts Open Leaf Flourish Die. Since I didn't have any olive cs on hand, I used my Copic marker YG97 to color white cs and cut the die from that. Lastly for the shimmer, I used the Winlk of Stella Clear pen.

Christmas is just around the corner, but it's still FALL. Loved this challenge.
