The Greeting Farm - You Mermaid to be Awesome

Hi everyone, this is my last project as July Guest Designer for The Greeting Farm. I had such an amazing time creating again with TGF images. By far this is one of my favorite cards. I used two stamp sets:

I knew I wanted to have a mermaid inside the glass bottle. I chose which images I wanted and colored them all with Copics. This was the first time I ever colored the whole background with markers. Next, I stamped the sentiment on the bottom left corner, I tried not to color the paper too dark. I then fussy cut all the images and started to build the scene. I layered and stacked the only seaweed image in the Little Mermaids stamp set. I wanted it to look lush and full. The base of the background is a wave die.

Skin: E00/E11/BV00/R81/R20
Pinks: RV04/RV19/RV69
Purples: V12/V15/V17/V09
Greens: YG03/YG67/G14/G43
Yellow: Y13/YR23
Teal: BG13/BG15/BG23/BG49
Sand: E31/E35/E29
Sand Castle: Y13/YR23/E31/E33/E29
Red Coral: R27

The fishes were actually stamped/colored on sticker paper and made it easy to adhere to the card. The final touches were to add some Stickles (Star Dust & Yellow) to a few images. I also used a white gel pen to add freckles to the mermaid.

I'd like to thank Marie and The Greeting Farm for having me as a Guest Designer. Thank you so much for letting me share my creations. 'Til we meet again!

Some Odd Girl - Genie Gwen

Good Morning! Today I'm sharing this card using Genie Gwen and Loopy Sentiments V4 from Some Odd Girl Stamps.

This card was kept pretty simple. I used a stitched background die for the base. The gold sequins and rhinestones were adhered with Glossy Accents. I wanted to add a sentiment, so using my Silhouette, I chose the "hello" word from Loopy Sentiments V4. Gwen is colored with Copic Markers and popped up with dimensional adhesive. For that added sparkle, I used Gold, Turquoise and Star Dust Stickles.

The Greeting Farm - Believe in Magic

Hi everyone, I'm back with my second project share as July Guest Designer for The Greeting Farm. I made a fairy shaker card combining two stamp sets:

I used most of the fairy images, sentiment and mushrooms in the Little Fairies set. I used my Copic markers for coloring. The fairies' wings are glittered with Star Dust Stickles. For the base, I layered two background dies (wood grain & stitched waves frame). I used Tea Dye Distress Ink to color the wood.

Skin: E00/E11/BV00/R81/R83
Brown Hair: E71/E74/E79
Pinks: R81/R83/R85
Purples: V12/V15/V17
Greens: YG03/YG67/G14
Yellow: Y13/YR23
Wings: B0000/B00
Mushrooms: R27/R39/E31/E35/E37
Stone: W1/W3/W5
Soil: E31/E35
Pot: E99/E29/E09

The image for the shaker element is from Fairy Garden. I fussy cut the inside of the image with a precision knife and left a portion of the foliage/steps in the front. Inside the shaker are some stars and a heart crystal.

This was very fun to create and I hope you try this little scene for yourself. Thanks again for stopping by!

Some Odd Girl - Mini Innertube

Hello again and happy Friday! Have you checked out the new release from Some Odd Girl  stamps, Mini Innertube?

This girl image screams Summer. She is ready to hop in the water and have some fun. First off, I wanted to layer some patterned paper in the background. I used several shapes from C.C. Designs (scalloped Rectangle, Stitched Oval, Stitched Rectangle, and a sun and water waves shape) to cut the paper.

She is colored with Copic markers. I wanted her swim suit to be full on glittery, I used Yellow Stickles to cover it up, as well as her slippers. For the finishing touch, I added a trio of yellow enamel dots from my "bling" box.

Some Odd Girl - Hello

Hey everyone, happy Friday! Today's post I'm using an image from Some Odd Girl  stamps, Kimono Kaylee.

She was pretty easy to color, for the most part, I only used two colors (red/black). My medium of choice of course is Copics. The background is a square grid die from Mama Elephant and I placed a vellum sheet behind it. I had a stitched heart die cut in my stash and I stamped a bamboo image on the side.

I'm really into using my Silhouette this year and I'm loving the sentiments from SOG. "Hello" is from the This Moment Sentiment Pack and I cut it out of red cardstock. I had some bamboo svg files on on hand and it fit perfect with the theme.

Princess

Hi everyone, happy Tuesday!
Here's a card using the Princess Diary Digital Papers from Mindy Terasawa Designs.

I paired the papers with this Princess stamp from The Greeting Farm and a fuchsia pink cardstock. I did a little cut & paste with the crown from another image just to make it match the papers. The sentiment Everyday Greetings stamp set and Framed Tags Columbus Circle are from Mama Elephant. The image is colored with Copics. I added three pink enamel dots on the bottom right corner to complete my card.

The Greeting Farm - July Guest Designer

Hi everyone, I am super excited to announce that I will be a Guest Designer for The Greeting Farm for the month of July! My history with TGF goes way back to guesting in 2012, being on the Design Team in 2013, and guesting again in 2015. If you haven't realized it yet, I love The Greeting Farm.

Today's project share is my July monthly layout in my planner (Hobonichi A6). It's my birthday month so I went all out and used several stamp sets:

The images were stamped onto sticker paper for easy application. I used my Copic markers to color all the images and had no issues blending. To add some sparkle, I used Star Dust Stickles.

Skin: E00/E11/BV00/R81/R83
Hair: E71/E74/E79
Pinks: R81/R83/R85
Turquoise: BG10/BG13/BG15
Yellow: Y13/YR23

The pages of my planner measure roughly 4x6, so all the images fit perfectly. If you want to use these colored images again and don't have the time to color, here's a TIP: Once your full page of images are colored, scan the page and keep it on file. When you are ready, pull up the file and print it out onto sticker paper and it's ready to go.

I hope you guys enjoyed my little project using these cute planner stamps. Thank you so much for stopping by. See you soon for more projects!

Some Odd Girl Design Team and July Freebie

Hi everyone! Today I'm excited to share that I am on the Some Odd Girl Design Team! I used to be on the DT back in 2016 and I took a break (because I was expecting my first baby). That "break" turned out to be a two year hiatus LOL. Now fast forward to 2019 and I'm back b*tches!

Here I am using the JULY FREEBIE image Cancer. July is my birthday month and she is kickass! I paired her up with Ninja Tobie. I created a mini fight scene by having these two characters face each other. For the background, I used a grid die from Mama Elephant and backed it up with vellum paper. The banner is from Lawn Fawn and I hand wrote the sentiment. Finally the images are adhered by foam adhesive for dimension.
