Hawt Dog

Hi everyone, here are my cards using the new "Hawt Dog" stamp set from Avocado Arts. So many options, let's begin!

Card 1: Lovin' you s'more every day.

This image is soo yummy. I colored with Copics and I used liquid applique to form the raised puffy goodness. I added a cute little heart die cut on the image, accented with Wink of Stella - Clear Pen for an added shimmer.

Card 2: You're HOT

I made a cute little tag to place on the card front. I stamped the bon fire image several times on the bottom of the tag, using a mask of the image to layer. I colored with Copics and I added some Yellow Stickles in the center of the main image. It's also popped up with dimensional pop dots. I threw in some red rhinestones for more sparkle.

Card 3: Franks alot...

Lastly, I used the hot dog image, colored with Copics. I also drew on the "ketchup" with Xmas Red Stickles. I fussy cut several of the hotdogs and layered them on top of each other. The white base is cut from a super hero die cut set. I think this kinda looks like a comic book card or something lol.

So those are my cards. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have fun with this "Hawt Dog" stamp set!

Whimsy Stamps - Moondrop

Hello! Today's card features Whimsy Stamps - Moondrop by Lizzy Love for the challenge over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, "Anything Goes".

She's a very whimsical image, I mean come on, Unicorn theme! She is colored with Copic Markers and accented with the Wink of Stella Clear Pen. I kept this card pretty simple. The image is framed out with By DIEzyne Dies - Pierced Ovals. I splattered some mist on the base of the card and popped up the image with dimensionals. For added bling, I placed a small pink rhinestone on her outfit.

DoveArt Studios - Winter Chickadee

Hello everyone. I wanted to share this image from DoveArt Studios - Winter Chickadee. It is from one of their new Christmas releases this month. I had so much fun coloring the bird. Secret - I had to google images of a snow bird to get inspired on what colors to choose. He is colored with Copics.

I used several By DIEzyne Dies to make this card. To make the easel card possible, I used the Half Circle Die. For the circle inserts, I used the Stitched Circles Dies, they nestle perfectly in the other dies. For the base, Stitched Stips were used on the dp. I also insterted a little flag banner on the side using Stitched Flags Two.

Soy-mates

Hi it's me again! Today is a busy day. There is a new challenge over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, "Anything Goes".  BUT make sure you use a STAMP/IMAGE carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store in order to qualify.

Today's card is made with two stamp sets from Your Next Stamp - Maki A Wish & Soy Awesome. I love anything Japanese/Sushi theme and these images are the cutest! From the set Maki A Wish, I used the following items: wasabi/plate, girl face, soy sauce bowl with chopsticks, heart. From the Soy Awesome set, I used: "soy-mates" sentiment, soy sauce bottle. All the images are colored with Copic markers. There are coordinating dies as well, instead I fussy cut the images and layered them.

I used By DIEzyne Dies - Pierced Ovals as the base for the images. Underneath, I used the Big Stitched/Pierced Rectangles and added a 1/16" border with red cs. There was a little too much white space, so I used Stitched Circles and a flower from Stitch This, which looks to me like a cherry blossom. Lastly I added some white dots with a gel pen and highlighted with the Wink of Stella - Clear pen.

Bam Pow Pop!

Hi guys. How many of you picked up any of the stamps from the July Release? Well, I created a card using Roberto Rascals - Super Hero Henry.

7.15.15

I colored him with Copics and highlighted his cape and mask with Wink of Stella in Clear.
The background has a gradient effect using three Distress Ink colors: Stormy Sky, Weathered Wood and Black Soot.

I used the word elements from Make A Card #7 Superhero Die and the mini stars. The cute little cloud is from the Little Cloudy Outline Die. I stamped the building from the BamPowPop Sentiment set on white cs, then I used the By DIEzyne Dies - Stitched Strips to cut it out in thirds. Several of the elements on my card were popped out on dimensional foam adhesive.

Avery Elle - Bonjour

Hello everyone! Check out the current challenge over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, "Anything Goes" (with an Optional Twist - Stars & Stripes).

Here's my card using Avery Elle - Bonjour stamp set and Coordinating Dies. Macaroons are the yummiest and I had to use this set. The colors I chose were pink & black, for a Parisian/Bakery theme. The rectangles are cut with By DIEzyne Dies - Stitched Strips and Big Stitched/Pierced Rectangles dies. I threw in some white doily die cuts I had in my stash and some mulberry paper flowers.

C.C. Designs July Release

It's time for the C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps July Release! Head on over to the CCD Blog for more info!
Here's my card using the newest addition: Super Hero Twila and Super Hero Henry. To overlap the two, I masked one of the images to make them appear side by side. They are colored with Copics and accented with the Wink of Stella - Clear Pen. I cut the dynamic duo with the die from the Make A Card #7 Superhero Die Set. The cityscape image is from the set BamPowPop Sentiments. That image is cut with By DIEzyne Dies - Stitched Circles.

I used the new Falling Stars Stencil with texture paste. After it dried, I colored the stars with Wink of Stella - Clear Pen for an added shimmer. Lastly, from the Make A Card #7 Superhero Die Set, I used the "Super" die and cut teal glitter paper with it. Each layer of the card is popped up with dimensional foam dots.
