Happy Winter

Good Morning everyone and Happy Saturday! I'm sharing my card using Paper Doll Marci Winter from La-La Land Crafts. I used her in my 7 Kids Challenge card and again today.

I created a one layer card adding some Glossy Accents for dimension and Wink of Stella in Clear and Diamond Stickles for some shimmer and sparkle. The sentiment "Happy Winter" and the snowflakes are from the stamp set. Marci is colored with my Copics. Using the Blender Marker, I created the polka dot pattern on the hat and sweater, Love!

Paper Doll Marci

Good morning! Happy Wednesday! It's time for a NEW challenge over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog! The challenge is "Anything Goes - with an Optional Twist (FALL Colors)".

I recently aquired La-La Land Crafts Paper Doll Marci Winter and I immediately had to use her. She is colored with my Copics and used some shimmer chalk for her cheeks. For her freckles, just a white gel pen to draw on the dots. I decorated her sweater with a birdy from Lawn Fawn Chit Chat. She's so versatile, you can use her for any ocassion.

The designer papers are from Simple Stories Cozy Christmas & DIY Christmas. For a more rustic look, I had cut some burlap into a fishtail banner and adhered that to the card. Instead of using rhinestones or brads, I used these wooden "enamel" dots that my friend had gifted me.The image is layed on top of a doily cut from the designer paper.

The FALL colors that I chose were brown, olive green and orange. I used flowers from my stash and also an orange flower from Magnolia Vintage Tinsel Dahlias. For the leaves, I used the La-La Land Crafts Open Leaf Flourish Die. Since I didn't have any olive cs on hand, I used my Copic marker YG97 to color white cs and cut the die from that. Lastly for the shimmer, I used the Winlk of Stella Clear pen.

Christmas is just around the corner, but it's still FALL. Loved this challenge.

A Warm Hello

Hi everyone! I wanted to share another holiday card, this time I'm using the cute stamp set from The Greeting Farm - Winter Greetings. This set comes with a boy and girl image. I'm working on the girl card right now but I wanted to show this little guy. He is adorable!

I kept this card pretty simple. The image is colored with my Copics and also I was missing brown CS, so I took my E27 Copic marker and just colored the border of the CS that would be showing. Easy color matching.

I wanted to use my new My Favorite Things Snowflake Doily Die and I coordinated it with the snowflakes from the Mama Elephant Season's Greetings Stamp Set. The snowflakes are embossed with white embossing powder.

The sentiment "A Warm Hello" is also from the TGF stamp set. I finished the card with a snowflake ribbon and added some shimmer from my Wink of Stella Clear pen, perfect!

Thanks for stopping by, stay tuned for my other card, using the girl image from Winter Greetings!

Hollydays

Happy Sunday! I created a trio of CAS cards that all coordinate, using the Hollydays stamp set from Avocado Arts.

Let's get started!

Card 1: Shine On
This set has the cutest reindeer! Here I stamped the image on 110lb CS for a sturdier base and colored him with my Copics. I then decided to trim the paper and pop it up over red CS. A few details were added with a white gel pen. A reindeer isn't a reindeer without a red nose, so I placed a red sequin for the sparkle. Lastly to finish the card, I added a red/striped bow up top. The stars and sentiment "Shine On" are from the set Just Be.

Card 2:
This card measures 5"x5". The tree image is used and it's embossed with gold embossing powder. None of the details of the words were lost when the powder was set. I used my circle dies to cut the image out and created a rosette border. It is layered over gold glitter paper. The red/striped ribbon makes another appearance to tie it in with the previous card.

Card 3: To U
My last card for you measures 3"x3". It mimics Card 2. I gold embossed the "To: and From:" tag image. It's layered over a small rosette and gold glitter paper is used on the bottom.

I love making holiday cards and this stamp set is amazing! Thanks for stopping in today!

Happy Birthday to You

Time for a New 7 Kids College Fund Challenge! "Anything Goes" is the theme, just make sure you use an image from the store to qualify to enter.

Here I am using two stamps, Mama Elephant Make a Wish and Kraftin' Kimmie's Birthday Girl.
Everyone needs a birthday card. I white embossed the sentiment on black chalkboard paper. I love how flecks of the embossing powder stuck on the background. I did a little fussy cutting on the Birthday Girl, just snipped off the teddy bear that she holds and the fluttering bird that comes with the image. She is colored with my Copic Markers and I drew a design on the balloon to match the one on the DP, Jillibean Soup Birthday Bisque. Lastly I covered the balloon with Wink of Stella Clear.

Hope you enjoyed my card today for the challenge.

Oh Deer

Happy Monday! I wanted to share a Christmas card that I created using the My Creative Time - Oh Deer Stamp Set.  These little reindeers are soo freakin' adorable. This stamp set also comes with coordinating dies, which I used rather than the stamps.

I had some old holiday paper (Martha Stewart Holidays) and it went perfect with the dies. I didn't have brown cardstock on hand, so I just used my Copic marker (E49) and colored the die cuts. For a bit more detail on the reindeer, I used a white gel pen to add tiny dots on the antlers, hooves and a few on it's bum =) Oh and I can't forget the cute little red bling on it's nose, it's a must when working with reindeers.

Ta da! A cute and easy Christmas card that I'm sending out,....yes I do send out holiday cards....sometimes LOL.

Have a beautiful week!

hello

Happy November! I survived Halloween! I thought I'd make a quick card for those who didn't...LOL. Today I used Lawn Fawn's On the Mend. Isn't the turtle cute! He is colored with Copic Markers (FYI 10% Copic Sale going on with Code: DIEZYNE10, ends 11/2).

The designer paper is from Simple Stories Good Day Sunshine. I love how the turtle's tail starts off the word "hello". The sentiment is placed on a fish tail banner and I added a red glittery heart. As always, to add a bit more dazzle, I used Wink of Stella Clear on the compress and shell.
