Cookbookin' September Sketch Challenge

Hey guys over at The Cookbookin' Blog, we are hosting our first monthly Sketch Challenge. This is my take on the sketch:

I decided to go on a different route and I made a card. All products used were from the Chocolate Celebrations collection and the Tasty Phrases stamp set. Bazzill textured cardstock was used for the base of the card (5 1/2" x 5 1/2"). Also by participating in this challenge, you will be entered in a drawing to win a Halloween kit:

For more inspiration head on over there and check out what the other designers created. Hope you guys can play along with us.

ATC - I break for coffee!

These little artist trading cards are addicting! I made another ATC card for my swap today and the theme is, you guessed it COFFEE! I have an array of coffee themed stamps and it was about time I used them. I love whipped cream and I had to add it to my drink. I used Liquid Applique` in white. That cute coffee cup charm went perfect with my card. The charm was purchased on eBay, seller: findingscrown.

Supplies:
* a muse - coffee break set
* Hero Arts - Have A Donut!
* Lindy Stamp Gang - Moon Shadow Mist: Ethereal Emerald
* Savvy Stamps - Lg Med Dot Background
* Archival Ink - Coffee
* ColorBox - Chestnut Roan
* Kraft Cardstock

To learn how I made this ATC you can view the video here. I hope you guys are inspired to make your own ATC cards. Thanks for visiting!

ATC Swap

I'm participating in my first ATC swap at my local stamp store: Stamp Your Heart Out. I got inspired by my friend Sandra over at her blog. She made the cutest cupcake themed ATC. So I decided to do a shabby chic birthday. I went with an outdoor birthday party theme. The ATC was made all from scraps! There is some logic behind all the hoarding of paper scraps =)....they're for ATC cards!

Thanks for visiting and you can watch the making of this here at my YouTube channel: Paperdrama.

The Cutting Cafe` - Today's your BIRTHDAY

Hey guys, here's another card using The Cutting Cafe` Printable Stamp Sets. I love using kraft cardstock, love love love =) I used the Circles Background Set,
which includes the solid circles and the lined circles for the base of the card. The circles gave a contemporary look and I wanted to shabby chic it up =) I added some lace trims, a handmade flower embellishment and a button. The "Today's your BIRTHDAY" sentiment is from the Birthday Greetings Inside/Out Set.

To view the making of the card please go here. Thanks for stopping by. Now go make something!

Art Journal

This is the art journal that I created during a crop that I attended at The Die Cut Divas studio in San Dimas, CA. This was made using a watercolor paper pad, literally the whole pad =) I used my favorite elements: Prima flowers, glimmer mist, and bling. This was so easy to make anyone can create their own, so give it a try. The crystal floral spray and dove stick pin were from an Etsy store: StudioGarageBand. You can also check out their blog for inspiration.
