CHA - Teresa Collins
CHA was fabulous and I was lucky enough to meet Teresa Collins herself! She is really sweet and allowed us to take pictures of her wonderful projects.
I can't wait 'til our LSS gets her new products in. I was able to get in line to do her fabulous make 'n' take, sooo adorable and easy. More from my CHA adventure to come...

Cookbookin'
Hey gang, in my previous post I mentioned that I recently designed some projects for a new company/paper line Cookbookin'. Their products are great if you are into scrapbooking and cooking. It's a great way to preserve your memories and recipes. I got a chance to pass by their booth at CHA. Below is Patty Fletcher who is co-owner of PJK Designs LLC and the whole Cookbookin' collection. She's a sweet lady and was very welcoming when I met her.
The project I designed was for one of their fabulous make 'n' takes, it's a recipe binder ring book using the "Preserving Memories" collection.
It was pretty neat to see my creation at an actual booth at CHA and it was cool being introduced as "one of our designers", lol. It kinda makes you think to yourself, "hey I guess my stuff is not that bad". Another fellow designer is Jennifer Priest who is very talented. I'm very excited to work with this company and look forward to creating more projects.

Two Peas in a Bucket Cupcake Social
On Monday I attended the Cupcake Social in Anaheim, hosted by Two Peas in a Bucket, yummm. They had fabulous prizes and raffles and the energy there was great. I came with Cat and Cindy. (L-R: Cindy, Cat)
I also met Kristina Werner, aka starofmay on youtube and kwernerdesign. For those who are familiar with her work, you'll understand why I soo wanted to take my picture with her. She's very nice and approachable, I felt like a dork asking to take a picture, but I am a dork, so I did, lol.
All in all I had a great time, I met some new people (shout out to Wanda & Jessica!). Gorged on cupcakes and lemonade. It was a perfect end to a long day at CHA. (P.S. I will post pics of CHA in another post, probably a slide show, I took soo many pictures and I want to share)

Croppin' Fun
This past Saturday, I had a crop with my cousins. We try to get together every couple of months to scrap. I hosted the crop at my house and we had a Stampin' Up! workshop as well. This get together was a tad bit different than usual, for the first time my cousin J.R. decided to join us in our crop. He's a newbie to our group and we had such a blast! We warned him to not be nervous or try not to feel intimidated. When he saw all our stuff he felt like a kid in a candy store (especially when he toured my bedroom/scraproom). It was very amusing watching his reaction as a "first-timer" to our group, sooo cute. I just had to share this picture of him when he first arrived. This is what he arrived with to carry his scrap stuff, mind you he's new to this addiction.
You're probably like, "That's it?!". My sister and I had an extra craft tool bin that we didn't use and other people had given him some stuff as well, this is what he ended up with at the end of the day. Just look at his face, he's ecstatic.
He worked on a layout and also a Thank You card for a friend. He did pretty good.
Like I said we had a Stampin' Up! workshop, here is Jennifer Pleasant who was our demonstrator. We made 2 cards and 1 treat box, very cool. We learned new techniques and now we're hooked on SU! products....thanks Jennifer, lol.
All in all we had a fantastic time scrapping, more like socializing and hanging out with family. I love all my cousins and very grateful that we can share our passion for scrapbooking together, so without further adieu, here is the "Scrapnificent Seven", lol:

CHA here I come!, Quickutz, Class Launch
Hey guys, well you probably have heard all the hoopla of CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) on all the boards. As a scrapbook instructor, this will be my first time attending. I'm soo excited to see all my favorite companies and the new releases. For the past couple of months I have been working with a paperline called Cookbookin' and have diligently worked on samples for them for CHA. Can you believe it, me?! For those who are attending, who knows you might just be making my project at their booth, hahaha we'll see. Stay tuned for pics...
Quickutz is here!!!...
Well they will be at Scrapping Lounge in Montclair, CA. The "cuties" (so they say, i'll be the judge of that) from Quickutz are down here for CHA and they will be passing by our store. We will have a FREE Make'n'Take and they will be showing some new releases on the Silhouette. How fun and cool is that. So for those who are local, come pass by at 5pm today and check it out. There will be snacks, raffle prizes and great deals on QK dies ranging from 25%-65% off, wow!!
Class Launch
Today is our Class Launch for February and March classes at the Scrapping Lounge. Our instructors, including myself, will be showcasing our classes. The event starts at 5pm and ends at 7pm. You are able to preview all the classes we have to offer for the upcoming months. Our class sizes are kept small so that we can have more one on one time, ooo la la. Get to know the instructors and our different styles. See ya there!! Here's a sneak peek of my March class "All About Me":

Owl's It Goin'?
I just love owls, so I decided to make this card. Back in November '08 our LSS Scrapping Lounge had a scrap yardsale and I picked up this cute sentiment stamp "Owl's it goin'?". The paper I used was Sassafras Lass. And of course I had to add the faux stitching, that brown piece of cardstock needed a little pick me up. The polka dot heart is a stamped image from Urban Lily. Just in case you thought that there was no letter "o", I did use a button to cover it up.

2S4Y Kazan's Sketch #18
Here's my take on 2Sketches4You Sketch Challenge. It's been a while since I participated but since Valentine's Day is fast approaching I better get started on my cards. I love Kazan's sketch. I faux stitched everywhere on the card with my black & white gel pens, steady hands. I guess it would've been easier if I used a ruler but I live on the wild side, lol. Enjoy.

Bling, Bling, Bling!!
Hi my name is Joanne Trinidad...and I'm an embellishment whore. This is how I roll. I bought the jumbo bag of rhinestones from JoAnns and I spent many hours sorting out all the colors. I know, very tedious. I don't think I can ever get enough of rhinestones, bling, ice, whatever you call it. It just adds some sparkle and glitz to all my projects. I'm not a hoarder...I'll eventually use them...it's just nice to have them there just in case, you know? Have a great Tuesday!

8x8 Layout
As a design team member for Scrapping Lounge, we had to complete an 8x8 layout telling a little bit about ourselves. This is what I came up with. The papers I used were all Sassafras Lass. I'm a sucker for Prima flowers and rhinestones.
I'm really diggin' this new page format. I'm also an embellishment whore (sorry to offend), I love to see how much I can add without going overboard, lol.
