Damask Mason Jar

Happy Saturday! I hope everyone's weekend is off to a great start. For my I Am Roses project today I altered this mason jar and mini card. On the mini card I added three Small White Semi Open Rose Buds, tied a bow with jute and added a pearl embellishment.

I used a Damask mask from Heidi Swap. I laid it on the front of the jar and stippled some white acrylic paint over the mask. While the paint was still wet, I peeled off the mask and just let it air dry. I wrapped jute rope on the rim of the jar and adhered it with some hot glue. The newest craze going around YouTube are these flat back pearls paired with ribbon buckles. They make the cutest embellishment. I created a double bow with the jute rope and place the pearl embellishment on top.

The jar is filled with gorgeous I Am Roses flowers: White & Pink Semi Puffy Rose Buds and this Big White Gardenia. I also filled it up with some brown shredded paper. For a closer look of this project, you can view the video here. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
